After my class, I decided to sarge one of the girls in the class with me. Opened her, negged her, got her to laugh, demonstarted value, all that good junk. The conversation was going great until...

Me: "How was your weekend?"
HB: *sigh, looks down at the floor*
Me: "That bad, huh? Did you lose your make up case or something (pervious neg from earlier)
HB:...my little sister died
Me:.....................you want a hug?

Needless to say, I did not see that one coming. We talked for another minute and then I had to run (time constraint), but that was just an awkward as hell moment. And she was serious! Her BL screamed depressed and upset. I left on a good note and intend to talk to her in the future, but I think I may have to take her off the sagring list for the time being. This is one of the few times I am ok with the idea of LJBF.

Make a mental note of her body language and try to keep it in mind for again. I can usually tell when someone has something on their mind and isn't in the mood for being romanced. It's best to be respectful in that situation.
