I went out out tonight with a few mates, the intention to enjoy myself, and test out a few ideas i've had. Saw two girls, a blonde HB8 and a brunette HB7, thoguht they were ideal, but AA stopped me.

I saw another girl, a HB6, and i knew i could have her. which i duly succeeded in. Gave her some eye contact, then ingnored her. Noticed she kept looking in my direction out of the corner of my eye, so felt confident. Her and her HB7 friend sat next to me, but didn't engage me. I decided to bite the bullet and engaged them. Thigns were going well, negged the HB6 a few times, she was definately interested. Managed to k-close her, but didn't push for a n-close as i wasn't concerned about seeing her again.

Later on the two girls from earlier sat down next to me, and they'd been close to us guys all night. I saw this as an IOI, and the blonde said hey to my friend, end result was my friend giving her two fingers, in a friendly way, which she laughed at. I engaged her with a neg, saying my friend was quite pissed off with that. Her face dropped, and she looked upset. I quickly said to her while smiling that i was joking, and proceeded to go to the toilet.

Found out later from my mate this had really upset her, and she thought i'd said something about her brunette friend. They were French, which i didn't pick up on as they're accent wasn't noticeable to me, but my french speaking friend did. So i did well with the HB6 which i was confident with, but the HB8 i wanted it seems i failed with quite badly. Such a shame, as i'd seen so many AFC's try it on with the 2 hot girls and thought i'd be different.

I'm sure you can explain why my neg with the HB8 failed.

Ok back to the PUA stuff, personally i never think its good to open with a neg, unless its a seriously funny neg that will make everyone laugh. But remember there is a fine line between a neg and a insult, so be careful. The more you've got to know each other the better the negs will go down. So what i mean is dont go throwin negs around everywhere right from off, especially if they are foreign because of the languge barrier.

Oh yeah i forgot to add.
I think you need to start opening more, go with this 'who cares what they think, fuck em', 'if they dont like you sod um'.
What im gettin at is the 'who cares attitude'.
'its nothing' not a problem. If it does'nt plan to plan you aint lost nothin, just gained, 'experience'. Well there is self-esteem but worry about that later. What i mean is you got more to gain than lose.

Posted this thread early this morning while half cut. Had about 5-6 pints, spaced with water, thinking this would enable my game to prosper, which i suppose it did. Forgot to mention this woman (another HB6) sat down next to me, and was looking worn out, so i pulled her up on it. She had red hair clips, which i said "Are they real?", so she showed me them. Was chatting to her for a good ten minutes, she was giving me plenty of kino which i reciprocated, smiles, eye contact, everything. She was loving me.

She did mention her husband likes to do this and that twice while we chatted, so i didn't escalate things and to be honest even if i'd wanted to i wouldn't know how to deal with the hubbie situation. This was just before the two HB's sat down. Thinking back i was on form with her, and the girl i k-closed, i realise now in my sober state i must've insulted the HB8, and myself saying it was a joke smiling and laughing didn't help things. I guess we live and learn, won't be opening with a neg for the forseeable future. Need to learn some of the other aspects of the PUA so i can make sure i'm doing the right thing at the right time, and maybe drink one or two less pints.

Also, i noticed two AFC's trying to pick up the two French girls. One got chatting to the blonde, and made some headway, but eventually the girls tired of them, got up and started dancing together, leaving the two chumps alone. The other guy was messing with his phone constantly, leaving the brunette being totally ignored. She was then fighting for her friends attention, which in turn ruined the chance the other guy had, since his wing was dire. My mates were telling me i was getting evils from the two chumps, which i take as a compliment. Alpha behaviour encites jealousy, correct? Will take the 'approach more often without a care' advice on board, cheers.

Funny how you notice these things quite a lot more when you start preparing to become a PUA.
