I was at a book store and a 2 set that I noticed earlier began to close in pretending to look at books.
So I whip out my cell phone pretend to read a text and laugh real quick and then look up at them.
Me"Excuse me can I ask you guys a quick question?"
Girl 1"Sure...what about?"
Girl 2 " What wouldn't jesus do?" (she read my shirt, check out busted tees guys, gives you a chance to show you have sense of humor)
Me "Haha, well besides that, I just got a text from my friend and he needs me to help him out. His girlfriend is really upset with him. You see we were out kind of late last night having fun, you know how that goes, and he was supposed to call his gf...."
Girl 2: "...and he forgot??"
Me: " Oh no, he didnt forget...but he texted her instead. It was late and he was tired so he just texted her and went to sleep. But he gets a call today and she is real pissed. So what is the big difference between texting and calling?"
Girl 1: " Wow why would she get mad about that?"
Girl 2: "Sounds like she needs some Mydol or something haha."
Of course I fell in love with Girl 2 cuz she was a HB 6 and I thought she was pretty funny. And now I hate myself because all I did was chat them up a bit and I didn't try to number close. Oh well, at least I had a fun convo. Any suggestions on improvements on the routine?

I can't think of any specific ways to improve that routine, but I recommend sitting down and compiling all your routines, and then try to find some way to link them. I don't have many routines yet, but whenever I think of a complete one I add it to a little map I've drawn that has circles (each representing a particular routine) and arrows annotated with some sort of transition. For example if you have a jealous ex-girlfriend routine then you might use that to transition to a similar routine like the one you just described (unless of course you're using it as an opener, in which case you can go back the other way).
I also list what I call ADHVs, or Associated DHVs. These are DHVs that you can drop into a conversation as part of a routine or an opener. So for each opener and each routine, you should list the DHVs that would be convenient to drop in there 'by the way.'
