So there was a party with 30 people. Really "underground" style in a bar undergoing renovation. Amongst the dozen girls there was one hottie(hb7). I had only read Double your Dating and I had never practiced pick-up stuff.

Me and my friend entered the venue early, hardly anybody was there at the time. We werent really looking for female company, we just rather were supposed to hang out with the guys. As more people came in I started to roam around and opened 2 sets. One set included the hottie but i never made any contact to her, i just managed to talk to 3 other girls about the bands about to play.

Later in the evening i made contact with the hottie. She actually opened on me asking whos friend i was. I never managed to fluff talk, it was rather ordinary small talk but nevertheless i made her laugh.

Huge mistake number 1: Since i wasnt about to pick up anybody in the beginning, I allowed myself to become quite drunk. This later backfired as I couldt use my head to its fullest capacity.

The evening went smoothly forward, I hanged out with the hottie. I Had no game, I wasnt trying to get anywhere. It was loud since the bands played. We went out for cicarettes ( im a party smoker). I couldt carry on a conversation very well while we were alone. Fuck it was even a bit akward. I should have made something up before i asked her outside. However i believe there was an another reason for the lack of communication.

Huge mistake number 2: I had been clingy. I had been like a leech on her for the couple of hours. I Should have given her more space to begin with or at least notice the change in her behaviour earlier. I had one-itis.

I left her in peace afterwards. Later on i made contact with next girl who after 15min conversation basically asked "Do you want to fuck me tonight?" I refused. I went to see the boys and got even more shitfaced.
As a last display of "valor" i went to the hottie and asked if could talk to her in private. About what, i still have no clue. Fortunately she was "busy". I left the venue with my friend.


My own advices for the very early beginners. Collected from this experience and few others. These are of course subjective. Feel free to disagree.

1. If have already made contact with a girl of your choice and you run out of discussion material or you have no idea what you are doing, just eject.
Go away for while and try get your own shit together. If you have achieved something during your time with her, she will probably come looking for you after a while. At least you can still try continue with somekind of a plan. Its better to leave than wait for the crash and burn.

2. Be serious. You are either looking forward to pick someone up or you have other reasons for going out. Its even necessary to have fun, but in the right way. If want to amuse yourself and your friend by flashing your member at the elderly or sticking up a beer bottle in your asshole, dont try to combine those things with pick-up.
