So i go for renting a car with my friend and we find this cute asian girl.She seemed to be friendly so I opened her asking some shit about previous customers( they had been waiting for a long time) ..I engage in light playful conversation ...
me:you have an interesting accent I have never heard that before ..where is that from
her: details about her accent and where is that from ...then I continue the convo ..

I tease her a bit as to how she has to work on weekends and I get to have all the fun ..( she hit me slightly ..I guess IOI) ..then she is like I know a lot of friends from XYZ(place where I come from ..and starts to talk to me in my language ( a few sentences + a few abuses ) ..I give her high 5(kino) ..tell her she is the most entertaining host I have ever met ... talk to her a bit ..ask her what she is doing and all ..tease her ..at the back of my mind I am like ask for her number ..didnt get the courage though..I shake her hand firmly before leaving and say nice to meet you...I leave but the whole time I was in my trip ..I was thinking I should have n closed her..I hated myself a bit for that.

I was hoping I might meet her again while returning the car ....and I was lucky ..I opened her playfully again , teasing her with

'I'd expect you will be still working when I'll come back' ..

she laughed , and then I negged her saying how much fun I had when she was basically having a boring weekend . She had been a bit late in finishing the check out ..I teased her saying -

' You made me wait so long you should get me some coffee' ..she smiles and says -'LOL..you should get me some coffee' ...I am like yea sure ..(I leave the coffee thing there)...

she had to drop us back ...so in the car back home ..I ask her a bit more about herself- what interesting things you do ....then negging her you dont seem like a party girl ..she didnt hear that completely .so she's like am I or am I not ...I smiled and said -No.She smiles a bit and says yeah ....tells me what she does on weekends.

we reach the place in a while and I was like I gotta number close this ( looked decent amount of IOIs ..not sure if those were cause she was doing her job and had to be nice like a hired gun??)..anyways she goes like

her:it was nice meeting you ..
me: do you stay close by ? we should meet for coffee sometime...
her: yea...
me:what is your number ..
her -Give me your number !!..I'll call you
I felt like leaving then coz I knew I had lost the chic but then gave her my number knowing 100% she wont call.( just so I wont come across rude)


So that was my field report.Anyhow for TLDR two questions -

1) What should one say when she goes like ""Give me your number"-similar situation has happened to me before and I ended giving up my number knowing again I wont get call back.
2) More importantly , when girl's say this is it a) You have no chance with her she wants to get rid of you politely or b ) there is still a way to score ..you need to be persistant?

don't ask for phone numbers, ask for dates, her number comes along with the date,

just give her a compliment, like

you know what, you're really fun to talk to, we should go for coffee on wednesday, I know this great place that makes really good coffee

her: blah blah blah (yes or no)

then you have your answer, always try to close when you are interested, there is no point in not trying, even if she is not spouting off ioi's left and right, she could just be moody but still find you attractive

it's always worth a shot, compliance tells you way more then ioi's
