Hey guys! I had a really successful night last night, no substantial close but I think I set up connections that will get me places.

Went to a party, I had been meditating all day, including right before I got there. I was in a fantastic mindset, things felt good. Immediately on walking in I saw a girl I knew (in a party of 40, I knew about 3 people) and she invited me outside. I was clicking, introducing myself to new people immediately and participating significantly in the conversation. One girl (HB8) I had met once before but didn't keep in contact with was giving me plenty of IOIs. She would touch me comfortably, and did small compliance tests, including making an animal noise for a cigarette. Unfortunately my one hiccup in the night was asking for her number (in the form "Can I have your number?"). It was obvious in the group, got everyone silent for a minute and was not a great close. She gave it to me, and I knew she was excited to maintain contact, but it wasn't the best way to do it. I talked through the awkwardness, though, and the one upside is that it was very obvious to another cute girl in the circle that I was closing. I expect to maintain contact with her through facebook, so good social proof.

Through the night I felt like I was attracting the alpha males. I was chilling with the guys who knew what they were doing. One guy was really preppy, entitled, but had a swagger that I liked. Late in the night I ended up with him and a slightly beta guy in a cab, with a driver they knew, named Benson. Coolest cab driver in the world. We were so obviously drunk but Benson joked with us and was happy to drive us anywhere. I mean, yeah he was getting money, and the preppy guy probably tipped well, but even so.

I also tried a couple different approaches with the girls at the party. With one girl (and her friend, kind of) I never did any significant gaming. When I first passed her, I said "I haven't met you yet, but I will when I come back inside" then moved on. Next time I passed, I said "Hi, I'm Slip, nice to meet you" and she introduced herself before I moved on again. Every time I saw her, I talked to her. When I was in the same room with her, I could feel her watching me, but I answered the call with constant positive energy, connecting well with all the guys in the room, and generally showing value. She began to approach me, asking about a guy she knew at my school, asking what my drink was (I carried a small water bottle around with me with a mix in it, tasted much better than anything they had). I should have closed and didn't, but facebook is still available, and she could be a valuable pivot.

I was flowing all around, and I attribute it completely to The Power of Now and meditation. I can't stress enough how important those are. I'm about to get on facebook and I expect a lot of friend requests. Hope you enjoyed the read, guys!
