Agree with ice.

Give us a script and reactions.
ex.
Outbreak: I want to be inside of you
HB11: *Face lights up "Ok do me!"
Then her boyfriend enters
BF: YOU A$$
Outbreak: *Punched repeatedly until death

give us as much detail as possible, also is that the only operner you used?

If it is then you might question that operner/neg. Or maybe your not having intresting enough DHVs or gambits. Once again details man.

Lets start with some good. Good for you for starting this stuff early. Many times I wish that I had gotten into this stuff when I was younger.

More detail would help, but I have a good idea what is going on. You are making a classic newbie mistake by not moving past your opener. Your opener is only here to transition to other material. Read my response to the post "last night. need advice" in the field report sections for more details.

Also, becareful about practicing this stuff actually at your high school. This stuff is powerful, but when you first start out with the material you are awkward. Even more awkward than in regulary conversation. In social circles there are repercusions to being awkward. At a mall or random place there is not. My advice is to focus more on DHV story stuff in the high school, and practice other stuff outside.

Also, by far the vast majority of your value in high school is established via social networks/gossip in high school. I'm sure there is a boy that every girl wants at your school. If you analyze why that is I am sure it is because he is in the "in crowd", he is most likely good at some school activity (often athetic), and even though he may be a very intelligent guy he probably doesn't talk about academics a lot (unless he is talking about a lack of work he did). There are some things you can do to enhance social value at your school. First, join an activity that you would excel at. If you are not blessed with natural athleticism, do something where there is very little at-school competition. For example, very few people in high school do martial arts. Although it will not get you value like being the captain of the football team, being proficent at a deadly art will get you danger appeal. Also, in a conversation at lunch, what ever, never EVER be quiet. Always express an opinion with confidence. Also, make judgments on what other opinions that others express. Something as small as "thats awesome" or "meh" goes a long way in your setting. No matter what the subject, say something. NEVER let people make fun of you. Try to lead any friends/chums in your daily activities. Be the one making the plans.

To others reading, I know this advice all seems very superficial. In fact I may get some heat from others saying that I am teaching him to go along with a superficial environment. However, try to remember what it was like in High School and how much your value was determined by superficial things and how important social value felt to you at the time.

scope i agree with you 99.9% the only thing i have a bone to pick with is the whole martial arts, i dunno why but i have a stigma about it, for some reason i always associate it with geeks trying to be physical, so if i may add a dif point of view, instead of doing martials arts why dont you hit the gym ? Deadly arts are all fun and games, but i think a good six pack might do ya even better ;)
