Man, I don't think she read the game or anyting like that.

It's my opinion that much of the "game" we learn is what women have allways done instinctively. Much of what we do is actualy learning to speak their language and comunicate on their level.

BTW... I also study philosophy and I think its easy to transition from astrology into philosophy by working with their symbols and bringing out the related concepts. I dated a girl who studied philosophy with me, she's brilliant and studies astrology seriously. We have had some very deep and meaningfull conversations (BTW i'm still getting over the one-itis she caused).

Maybe you could have negged her and transitioned into some meaningfull philosophical convo...

Hrm no offense intended but just because a random girl cameup and talked to you about some chick crack related conversation doesn't mean she has read the game or was really using pick up techniques. It means she is a woman and thought you were good looking most likely *shrugs*

Astrology, especially horoscopes, IS coldreading. By definition. And somebody said it earlier, its just chick crack. You should have used it back on her, do some cold reading of your own...

This one would have been a bit easy. She's a philosophy student, so she is deeply contemplative, but she's a self-professed aires, so she doesn't like to just sit and think the whole time, she would rather put her ideas into action. She is also into astrology (enough to actually know the general cold-reading for each of the signs, which is more than many girls get into it) so she believes in the mystical side of the universe, and doesn't limit herself to textbook science and rules (fits with aires, breaking rules... but of course that fits with 98% of everybody some of the time)

Now take it a step further. She is probably seeking some kind of truth or path, and would like to find somebody daring enough to take the adventure with her, or...even show her the way. (as you are doing now by cold reading her)

At this point, I would make a joke about going on some crazy trip together, to timbuktu or borneo or something, and work it then into changing venues (go to another place) and isolating her for the f-close.
