I'm not against this at all. If this is who the OP is when it comes to how he wants to treat a woman then there is nothing wrong. I think one of the best ways to get a girl hooked is to treat her like a girlfriend on a date. When they are treated like a girlfriend, they act like a girlfriend. It's the fact that he put on an "I'm going to treat you like a girlfriend" facade but didn't show the confidence in being able to lead her.

I agree though, if you want a girlfriend, treat her like a girlfriend. But that obviously implies that she should have at least minimal sexual interest.
It implies that you've at least had sex. At least kissed. At least shared SOME sort of reciprocated physical intimacy.

Had he done any of these things, feeding melon and bringing a blanket to a date suddenly turns into a great idea if your aiming towards a relationship.

But fucks sake, do it with someone that has proactively and decisively shut you down with every occasion.. what the hell is wrong with you?
