So I shall describe last nights expreience and ask your thoughts.

I went to a bar I frequent for the exclusive purpose of seeing the Cubs (World Series) game. I do not have a functioning tv at home. Also, I was the only one watching the Cubs because this was not Chicago and averyone else was more interested in the college football game. I know some of the regulars at this bar and am friends with a few of the bartenders.

I am watching on a big monitor that required be to face away from the bar. Two fairly hot chichs enter with an elderly man. They sit to my right and one girl is literly rubbing against me and holding her head close to my face. I wondered if it was accidental or on purpose. I took the aproach of pretending I was not interested and kept my face dead focused on the game. Then her party got up and started dancing to music between me and the screen. I helled at them to get out of the way. She said "no we are dancinb" and I physically moved her out of the way. She said "who cares about the Cubs? Would you rather watch the Cubs than dance with me." I figured I was on to something, so I hesiteted to answer. She says "50/50." I began dancing which included friction dancing and we hugged three times during our dancing before she asked my name and we intrduced eachother. They sat down and my attention turned back to the game. Then they left saying they would be back in a bit.

When I got depresses at how the Cubs were getting blown away I walked into the dance floor room where I found her friction dancing with the elderly guy. I was hoping she would get done with him and I would take a turn. After telling her the game got depressing, she pointed to him and said "he owns the bar." After confirming he was the owner I could not help but post of Facebook "what kind of bar owner gets drunk and acts like a complete idiot in his own bar?"

The dance floor got more and more populated and this other girl approached me and asked how I was doing. I said "not good the Cubs are losing." We conversed a while and I got the impression she was interested in me. I asked her to dance and she said "I don't dance well, but you can dance for me." I dance a little then the conversation continued. She mentioned that she was there with her friends because her boyfriend was out of town, debunking my belief that she was into me.

After the owner satarted dancing with other girls. I aproached the first girl ande we friction danced a little before her friend signaled her off the dance floor. They left the room and I was hoping they would be back. After a while I wandered all over the bar and they apparantly left. I was dissapointed that I did not end up getting a number or something else.

Anything I could have done diferent?

Shown some interest. When you have a girl in a bar that wants your attention and she would get it from just about every other guy in the bar, you shouldn't be more into the game than her. If the game were that important, you can at least bring her into what you're watching. If you don't give her the attention that she wants and another guy will, she will become bored with the idea of you.

You could have also probed more with the girl with the boyfriend that was out of town. That could have been her way saying that she was free tonight. However, that's a question for your moral POV.

Geez...I'd kill to have a girl rubbing on me and having her hair in my face. Who needs an opener at that point!!
