G'day, this is a journal I'm starting to track my game, mostly because I foresee it leading to self improvement. I'm currently in a bit of a rut - I had a very successful period which has now deteriorated and I'm not sure why. This is mostly in the form of girls flaking, which has somewhat shook my confidence.

By tracking my interactions with women and going back to basics, hopefully I'll help get back to where I was! Feel free to leave any commentary.

Decided to bum around the city for an hour or so before work to grab a coffee and approach if I saw anyone worthwhile.

Saw one girl across the street who was decent - maybe an 8. Could have approached but didn't have the motivation.

As I was going back to my car a 7.5 pulled up next to me. She got out and I made eye contact with her.
"Hey" She said.
"Hey there, I like your car."
"Oh thanks haha."
"Mine is better though", I tease her with a wink.
She laughs and agrees. During this time I had been walking to my car door, and her away from her car towards the ticket machine.
"Have a nice day", she said, waving as she continued to make a bee-line for the machine.
"You too." I got in my car and drove away.

Points I would consider doing differently:
- Stay planted when I talk to her, which may also inspire her to stay
- Ask her what she was doing at that moment
- Try harder to maintain conversation, as I was a bit laissez-faire about the whole thing

Was grabbing a drink with a friend. We had quite a cute waitress (it was a restaurant/bar).
We were ordering sake - a drink I'd never had before. I asked her about what she would recommend - she said she didn't know because she'd never had it herself.
I teased her about this throughout the night - and also got into a conversation with her about uni.
She came over and teased me about going red because I had something spicy - I told her that it was her making me blush.
Before we left I asked her if she wanted to grab a drink sometime. She said yes and I gave her my phone - number close.
For some strange reason I said thankyou afterwards really awkwardly - a reflex from saying thankyou to waitresses as I'm leaving anyway haha.
Will have to wait to see if she flakes or not - a lot of waitresses feel uncomfortable in that situation and won't say no (from personal experience with waitresses flaking and from waitress friends of mine.)

Was at a restaurant by myself - I was travelling to Sydney alone for a concert. A lady, although quite a bit older, sits a few tables down from me. Given her age (approx. mid 50's) I had no sexual interest for her. However, I always like pushing myself through social barriers. After a few minutes pass I realise she isn't going to be joined by anyone. I muster up the courage to go and talk to her (which did take me a glass of cabernet-merlot).
"Hi there - I couldn't help but notice you are sitting alone, is anyone joining you?"
"Oh no, no" - She was slightly startled that I approached her.
"Would you like to join me? I'm by myself too, and I always like meeting new people.
"Oh yes that sounds nice!"
I ended up joining her because she had all her food out already. We had a great chat for about 45 minutes or so, and it got me really pumped up and confident for the concert I was going to, which I had an awesome time at as well.
I like to have this mindset of liking to meet and get to know new people - it helps me to get in a zone where I am trying to make a connection with girls - making the relationship (and sex) much better.
