i swear to god, body language has got to be about 50% of being a PUA

if you have seen the movie, the 40 year old virgin, you may have remembered the part where andy (steve carrol) talked to the girl in the bookstore and all he would do was repeat what the girl said in a questioning manner.

there is a point to all this

not that his character was any sort of PUA or that he used any good body language, but he literally said nothing to her and got her number.

this is basically what i did last weekend (except the whole conversation part), all i did was rely on my body language, i was at a friend's party and all i did was sat down on the sofa, layed back, and kept a smirk on my face (by the way i had a chew in, not necessarily a bad idea, i'll get to that later) and this HB8 came over and sat right next to me

HB8: you smell good
(i was wearing Acqua Di Gio)
Me: thanks
HB8: havent seen you in a while
Me:uh..well..you know..

later on her and another girl had left, so i texted her asking what she was doing and she said they were coming back

heres my conclusion

that is about all i said and it was literally nothing, and she came back and started playing with my hair, she sat in my lap, we made out and i did absolutely nothing

(i do happen to know this HB8, but not that well)

so the only conclusion i can come to is body language, this was all due to body language. by the way, for some reason when i have a chew in im more successful in pickup, i have no idea why.

Interesting. I know that non-vernbal communication says more than words. But can you explain what you were feeling when you had your body lanuage work for you?

what i was feeling? i dont think i fully understand the question.

to tell you the truth i just acted out the body language of a player from a movie or something, it felt good

Dude, I'd say body language is over 50%...waaay over 50%.

I've grown significantly, once I got my body language in check, but as always, it's a work in progress.
