Set up a date almost immediately after a few exchanged messages.
We meet for a date a few days later; goes really well. She seems interested.
Textd her that evening to say i had an amazing time, she reciprocated.
So i said, LEt me borrow u 3 days from now, wanna show u my side of the city. She said it'd be fun.
ANyways, the day before the 2nd date she txts saying some about being busy at work and may not be able to make the date, yaya - the infamous flake. This is my response:

Look, i understand now nowadays we guys are supposed to act like we have busy lives and not sound needy, but we're both adults, and Jedi mind games are for children. I enjoy your company and I DO WANT you to know that. YEs, a man with a busy schedule is desirable but would you rather be with someone who pretended to have a life only to later find out he has none? If i'm busy; great. If i'm on vacation (which i was at the time), I'm not looking to exhaust myself, i work hard, and like to relax when i'm off. If you feel there wasn't a connection i can understand that.

Caught her by surprise i can imagine. Said something about having a stalker..... again more backpeddling nonsense.
Set up 2nd date. Went even better.

Took some balls to send her that message... most guys would have ignored the flake and tried on and on or called her out angrily, which sounds different than what you did ... you stood out by being different... will have to try this answer myself the next time I'm being flaked...

Legit. Seems like most girls would be caught by surprise this way. Goes to show that being genuine is undervalued.
