Hi, I have recently decided to make the commitment to stepping my game up once and for all! Generally quite a shy person but now that I have decided to pick up my balls I have started to see some instant (if not mixed) results.

Here is my issue: Kissed a 9 at a nightclub a few weeks ago. Set up to take her to a movie this weekend, and she flaked on me (after I had bought the tickets). I'm not sure how to respond to her last text message (transcript below).

Her: Jacob I am so sorry but I have a last min friend coming over from Perth this weekend and staying with me. There dad is really sick so I told them to come have a weekend away to take their mind off it! I feel terrible can we do it one night next week instead ill be in melb this week so sorry I feel bad u booked the ticket! We can. Maybe change the ticket to another night? Thanks for organising it tho that's really nice. Xx

Me: Ohhh well if thats the case then you have to take me out next time . I can msg you the address so you know where to pick me up from x

Her: Sorry I had such a full on day filming today just catching my flight back now! Haha I dont take boys out! Maybe ill buy you ice cream or something :p. have a good weekend give me a text next week okay!

Anyone been in this situation before? I feel that a well thought out message could flip the script and get her chasing me rather than the other way around... nothing comes to mind though so some advice from an experienced PUA would be appreciated. Dont want to do what she says and lamely text her asking for a reschedule

That flake seems valid, but I'm not quite sure about her being so sorry about it. She can really be just trying to get the best out of you with this "I don't take boys out" stuff, or it can be that in reality she doesn't give a crap about you losing the price of the tickets. Because of the first possibility, I don't think that dwelling on this matter any further is the best solution, because it might backfire. But also, you just have to have some refund after this incident while keeping your frame. As a start, something like this could do:

"I prefer pop corn over ice cream. It's a deal."

I'm absolutely new in this forum but I got a bit of experience with the shy-type, so maybe you ll find my input helpful.

Expect the shy type to be flaky at the start, its her natural anti-slut shield.

Shy-high-value girls want power in relationships (they use passive-aggressive tactics) you have to be prepared.
(They are used to be in full control and having guys all over them)
That response she send you is a struggle for power over you, remain your status, DONT play into it.
(Probably valid, still she doesnt give a shit about you losing money and planning stuff for you to do, until she compensates for that in whatever manner! Its just nice stuff shes used to get trown at her from all the boys)

My advice:
Dont text her too soon, next week she said, gosh you got better things to do at the moment (what about the other hot chicks pursuing you at the moment? so delay it as far as your comfortable without screwing the timeframe. (Its all about the push and pull)
For the message itself, rely on the experienced brothers I d rather not touch your game due to my own inexperience.

It implies im not capitulating to that ridiculous line about taking boys out, and leaves it up in the air a little over whether ill text her next week to build a little tension. Thoughts?
