The people of this part of the country are called Yoopers. I went into town with my uncle and grandmother to by some groceries and visit the forest visitor's center. The girl working the desk at the visitor center was a babe and she was working on college homework. I struck up a conversation with her about her HW and I mentioned we had a cabin at a nearby lake. She said her uncle had a cabin by the same lake and it turned out I new him. Long time family friends. Later that day I went to the store bought a rose and returned to the visitors center. I gave her the rise. We conversed a bit more then I left. I will be returning home in a few days. She is hot and a Yooper.
Now the funny part. I used my phone to take a pic of us and later when I went to look at it I found that the camera was on video mode. So instead of a pic I have 15 seconds of awkward video and 8 minutes of the inside of my pocket.

I am on my way back home and just before I left she left her job to go back to school for the winter. I rather than asking her when I saw her I thought I would keep in touch via face book but I have not seemed to find her. It is easy to assume everyone is on Facebook these days. I have some ideas but am wondering which would be most appropriate. One is message her uncle and ask if she has a Facebook.
