So I went to Japan town last night with a group of people not necessarily going for sarging but was still peacocking and what not. I saw a 3 with a HB8, HB6 and HB2ish (can I even say HB2? kinda contradictory). Obvious target was HB8. A couple of my buddies have never read the game or really know what they are doing and I am trying to get them involved so I used an opener from The Game to show how it works.

R: Hey did you guys see that fight out side?
(talking directly to HB2)

HB8: What really?

HB2: Oh, let me guess...it was two girls fighting over a midget right?

I was a bit stunned when I heard this!

HB2: Yeah and whats this jacket? Your peacocking gear?


At this point what would you guys do? Pretty much I picked up her as a dyke and she read The Game to pick up girls herself, but HB8 was not a gf or anything like that.

Before I could say anything back she slid over a big and gave me a cold shoulder to pretty much block me out of the conversation, prior to this I had ideal real estate.

HB2: So there is this book I read and it helps guys pick up girls in bars cuz before they read it they were loosers. HAHA. How pathetic right?

R: So you read The Game cuz you had troubles picking up girls yourself?

Keep in mind I was kind and said it pretty much to her instead of trying to AMOG or take over, at this point I figured this set was dead. She turned bright red and shut the hell up and then after I left was saying stuff to the friends about peacocking. Not sure what I could have done in this situation. Any suggestions? Plus I know HB8 could have been minimum of a #Close.

3 things:

1 - I work near San Jose, used to live in the south bay, the male:female ratio is way on the wrong side because of all the tech industry, so in that environment you need all the PUA techniques you can get. I moved to San Francisco and I take the long commute as a price worth paying to have some sort of female selection available at night.

2 - The answer you gave her was actually the correct response, you used it as a neg. Kudos if you thought of it on the spot.

3 - Never ever use canned lines from the book, especially as openers. You have to make your own stuff up or there's a chance you'll be rumbled as a PUA by someone who has heard of it. The VH1 show and the popularity of The Game is, IMHO, more of a hindrance to us than a help.
