About two nights ago, my room mate and I ended up taking to girls home. That was the beginning. Now for the background:

The night started off with a dinner with a number of my friends casually at a Greek place, which was lovely. The girl I ended up taking home was there and throughout the dinner I was holding eye contact displaying indifferent alpha body language with a peppering of cocky/funny. That seemed to spark her interest as I received IOIs and slowly reciprocated them.

We then moved to a local bar where we played drinking games. The conversation seemed to be going well, I said very little and listened to her intently yet not as if there was some semblance of infatuation.

We then hopped to another bar where we talked even longer and I was able to comfortably kino escalate. While making my way to the bathroom her and her friend (the one taken home by my room mate) were ordering drinks and they asked what was I drinking. I told them nothing currently and she stood there and said:

"You're doing tequila shots."

To which my reply was: "No cash on me love another time."

She said "Don't worry about it." and gave me a smile.

Alright, so salt went into my lungs and I coughed spitting tequila all over the bar. My first instinct aside from cleaning up was to have my head up, chest out and shoulders back and make sure it didn't look like it fazed me.

She laughed and said "Oh look we got an amateur over here!" with a wink and I said "Fill it up again sweetheart I've been doing this before you were born."

Shells out the cash and I get the job done. Easy.

We then hop to the club with my buddy and I start dancing with them a bit then one of the girls sees a friend and drags her over to introduce her (my girl) to them. My room mate and I are standing there with our dicks in the wind and my buddy say's "Nah we're not playing their games. Follow me."

We go to the smoking section and pretend to have a deep conversation. Sure enough the come looking for us and we tell them to come back later we're having a guy talk. Sure enough, they came back! Phenomenal.

My girl grabs me by the hand and says "Enough guy talk you're coming dancing." I'm thinking; "Fuck sakes this is a lay up." So we're grinding on the dance floor and I mention I did a bit of salsa and she got excited and did a few steps. We held hands all the way home to her place but her friend was just plastered therefore she had to take care of her. We exchanged numbers. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and walked down the road. First number close. Incredible feeling.

Now tonight she invited us all over for a BBQ. Some of her girl friends were visiting and we played flip cup, beer pong, etc. I kept trying to kino, hold hands etc., and nothing seemed to happen. At the bar we were playful flicking our drinks at each other with the straws which seemed to get the desired response. But, as I am broke I drank water and she gave me an unusually hard time about not drinking. I figured she was just busting my balls and thought nothing of it. When I went out with everyone to light fireworks - It's Victoria Day in Canada - she came to help me set them up and laughed with me about how she couldn't light the matches and screamed when they made a loud bang etc. But I kept getting the feeling of distance.

I was starting to get cold on her deck and finally said, "Alright kids I'm going to bed. Have a great evening and pleasure meeting you all." to which she replied "Fine, have a good night Grandpa (I'm older than her by a few years)."

My question for you gentlemen is where did I go wrong? I did notice I talked more and had a bit less of an alpha frame during the evening. But given the headway I made two nights earlier I figured I had it in the bag.
