My buddy and I went over to a friends lastnight because was having a little get together. He got there and theres probably 8 dudes just sittin around (it was still kinda early yet). Ten minutes later a 3 set walks in (HB6, HB7, HB8). My buddy who knows them answered the door and then immediately introduced them to me.

This was very different from executing an approach opener because i couldnt just start out with something random/funny. What I found was that you had to not be shy in a group and almost initiate the conversation to win the group or jump into whatever topic they are talking about but do it in a confident manner (which i did).

So after they introduced themselves, we starting talking and my wing and I went into the "would you ever date a person in a wheel chair" routine. negged the HB8. We went out to have a smoke and started talking and then the next thing I know I was inviting this chick to my buddies party this weekend.... Number close!
