This may be incorrectly placed but it shows a conflation in advices between master PUA's Tony Clink and Mystery.
Last weekend I did a number close with a waitress while out to lunch with my family. Her holding eye contact and showing other subtle IOI's was what caused me to approach in the first place (i counted 3 total: she asked me to one of her performances, she tried to get me to stay when I tried to excuse myself, and I can't remember the last. Well anyway I set up a meeting time partway through the week and she cancelled on me (her excuse was her mom broke up with a boyfriend that day and needed to be consoled). I decided to use a trick from Tony Clink: Make it clear that your time is valuable and that by blowing you off she's disrespecting you. I did this, but I also made sure to seem sympathetic about what happened. I emphasized how it was impolite to me to tell me so late. She responded telling me she doesn't want to see me again. Mystery says in his book to let the woman off easy, and call someone else. Act like it's no big deal. I'd like to know who you think is right in this situation, is it more effective to assert dominance and elicit guilt or is it better to portray yourself as a guy with a million otheropportunities?

I would have followed mystery's method. with guilt you run the risk of burning the bridge. who knows maybe she was telling the truth.

You would just take it off a girl without saying anything? I'm pretty sure I'll have to kiss this one off but how should I go about dealing with flakers in the future? How would you restrategize after a flake off? Would you just ask her out again? After she disrespected you by leaving you without plans for the evening?

99% of the time women aren't in short supply. Unless you're living in the middle of nowhere where theres only like 5 girls and only 2 are hot you shouldn't get hung up on just one girl. You hit it off, closed, did whatever and then she flakes. W/e maybe she's just having second thoughts, maybe she had a boyfriend, maybe her mom just broke up with her boyfriend... there's a million reasons why she might not want to see you, or any other guy again, and that's fine. Go out and find another girl. If shes the kind of person who is going to blatantly blow people off and disrespect them, do you really even want to be with someone like that?

I do and would go with mystery's path. when I get flaked on I just play it off like it no big deal. Getting mad or trying to convince the girl that what they did interfere on your life just shows that they hold more power then they should. If you let it slide and show no affliction to pretty much anything they do in the neg. It shows that you are your own person and that your not needy or dependent on them. They are just icing to your cake. Sure being a jerk has its benefits but then again this early in the dating game its just going to put her on the defensive or worse just drop yo ass.
