Sometimes....hopefully only sometimes...the situation I was just in occurs. I was out with some buddies of mine who, I swear, are pussy magnets for me. I've never not talked to a hot HB when I've been with them. And tonight was further proof that social proof is a HUGE benefit when sarging.

So its five of us hanging out at the bar including a girl (good pivot). Across the bar an HB 4 and HB 9 appears. Immediately the HB 9 starts looking in my direction. Now, I was sitting next to a buddy of mine who is a good looking guy, so we all were joking around that she was staring at him. After a few minutes of this we even waved to her and pointed to our friend. Deep down, though, I really thought she had been looking directly at me. Soon enough, a couple of guys started gaming these girls. These guys were obviously getting nowhere and it was a spectacle to watch the girls try to shut them out with their body language. Anyways, we just kept pointing and laughing, and eventually a buddy of mine and I went out for a smoke.

Surely enough, the HB 9 followed and joined us. We joked around, and I noticed she was paying complete attention to me and began the kino right off the bat. A little playful negging and kino and I had hooked her. We went back inside where her friend and her walked over and introduced themselves to me and we began to chat. The kino continued, as did the million IOI's. Great, right? It gets better. When she went up to get a drink the HB 4 pulls me aside and asks, "Do you think my friend is cute?" I say, "Yea, she's a beautiful girl." She then gives me a wink and a thumbs up, basically saying that I'm in. Awesome, this shit doesn't happen everyday. The HB 9 comes back and we chat more, and soon enough its closing time at the bar. She walks over to another friend and tries to "save" her from an AFC hitting on her. I'm left to ponder going for the close. Well, this is a no brainer I think, so I walk over to her, pull her aside and go for the close. Now, at this point, I knew that she was actually leaving for college in another state in a few weeks (she's a senior on winter break) so I knew that at best we good have a torrid love affair involving wild sex in what little time we had. However, she then informed me that she was actually leaving in a week, and for that reason it wasn't worth it. She then told me she thought I was, "sexy" though. I then pressed for the number again, but she told me all we could do was "chat" and that it wouldn't be satisfying for me. I left with a kiss on the cheek and nothing more.

What I got out of this experience:

1) Ego boost. The HB 9 dug me from the get-go which was awesome.

2) Satisfaction for trying to get the number. I KNOW I would have kicked myself if I had never tried. The unknown is far worse then what I am currently experiencing.

3) Massive blue balls. This chick was hot and had cantaloupes for boobs.

So basically...ugh. All part of the game, I know, and I have plenty of other girls to deal with. But DAMN...that kind of night is frustrating.

Yeah sometimes, you play the game right and circumstances just work against you. Did you escalate properly with her, and how much time did you spend with her? Remember to get her to qualify herself and build lots of comfort? Usually---not always---if she spends a few hours talking with and touching you, she will feel invested and a # close is automatic.

Escalation was done properly, and I spent about an hour talking to her before the bar closed. She qualified, and there was plenty of comfort (I was stroking her cheek at one point). Her friend came up to me a couple of times telling me she wanted us to get together, and this was after she talked to the HB 9. So I'm pretty sure that if she had been around for more than a week longer I could have # closed. I think its just circumstances.

Possibly, if I played it truly pimp, I could have put her in a frame of taking chances and living for the moment to get the close, but she really doesn't seem like the type of girl to just hook-up with guys she barely knows. It would have taken a lot of work, and I simply don't have the time for it.
