If you dont want to read the essay look at the last paragraph for the problem, however, skim reading some of it / the first two small paragraphs will help
I have already written posts about the 'posh do' i was going to last saturday asking for advice, and due to my age i didnt get a response... however here are the results:
firstly im 17, and i know the majority of the community is much older than me and therefore will either stop reading or will think "he doesnt need help" etc etc
anyway... the event itself, me and the boys arrived there bang on time (it was at the best girls school in england, we were not going to be late) for the champagne reception, we are all mingling with the girls and the guys from our school, and me and my best mate decide we'll say hi to every guy there to just make our presence known (we are fairly confident guys and are popular within school etc so it wasnt hard to be done - also this isnt arrogant, it's the truth) this went down very well as we were introduced to a fair few girls that we hadn't seen before and was an easy way to be known. Me and him then start talking to 4 girls and everything seems to be going very well. They're loving our banter, and from the tips that i have read online, i didnt cross their centre line or lean in to talk to them etc etc i just stayed chilled. As a guy im very relaxed and when it comes to girls i'll say what ever, im not two faced so im confident enough to just be myself.
from the reception we had the 3 course meal and the seating plan was boy girl boy girl etc etc on every table
Next to me was an honest 6/10 and a 5/10, which could have been worse, but looking around could have been much better. The conversation with the 6/10 was much easier than the 5 who was almost silent throughout all the general conversation of the table. the 6 kept brushing my leg with hers even though there was plenty of room and im a well built 6ft4 guy, her hair flicking and "eye popping" (i think its called that) we fairly obvious signs that she was attracted to me. I was never rude besides the occasional NEG to keep her from getting over confident. this worked a treat as she'd say things like "how can i make it up to you" etc
after dinner we had "dancing" which was done in our full dinner jackets which was fairly uncomfortable, so as we got more into it and became much hotter we started to take off our jacket, tie and unbutton a button on the shirt, which went down a storm. However with the dancing i was just jamming constantly to whatever song came on with whoever was the nearest 'chick' at the time. getting noticed by as many girls as possible is always good as it gives you more confidence / they could start up a convo at any time.
I managed to see the 6/10 from earlier and she began to 'grind' on me, which im fine with but being a very posh place, me and my mates found it quite amusing. Anyway she ended up asking me to kiss her, so i complied, and she was impressed with my skills (sounds bent but i've been told im very good / have had a lot of practice
haha) then she was following me around like a dog until the end.
Unfortunately i couldnt take her out after as its a boarding school and they have strict rules, however she wants to meet up with me again, and the dilemma comes now; do i see her again, or get talking to another girl who has added me on facebook?
The thing is though, the other girl is much more attractive (idk about personality yet) but there is only 80 girls in the year group, odds are, everyone knows everyones business, i need help from here on. The 6/10 had a 9/10 personality, but attraction isnt really there, advice on where to go from here will be appreciated!
