well.... i screwed up. lol.

I was on a newbie mission today at the mall. It went well and did a lot to boost my confidence about approaching groups (it was actually easier with groups!). I was feeling pretty good so after a while i decided to try to sarge some sets (really just to practice opening and neging - i didn't try to close any of them because i wanted to approach as many as possible). One of them went really poorly. Here is what happened...

My friend was with me and i had told him a little bit about PUA's and he has just started reading 'The Game'. There were three girls at one of those carts that sells hair products in the middle of the mall. It looked like two worked at the cart and the other was their friend that was just hanging out. There was an HB8, an HB6 and an HB4(is it appropriate to say 'HB? should it just be B4?). The HB4 was on the phone so i made eye contact with the HB6 as i was approaching. However, before she saw me coming, the HB8 (the target) walked away(back to her own cart where i guess she was working). I was already committed, so i opened to the HB6 (the HB4 was still on the phone) with the 'who lies more, guys or girls?'. In the middle of the opening conversation the HB4 gets off the phone and is interested. I tried to switch the attention to the HB4 and ignore the 6 a bit. In the process of this i asked the HB6 offhanded if she ever lied to the HB4 (her friend) and she said yes. I did this to set up a 'she's kinda feisty; how do you deal with her' neg, which i then said; but the HB4 was already furious at her friend! She said she was mad at the HB6 because she told us (strangers) that she lied to her friends (the HB4 specifically) and then she was on us. She was shooing us away like a mother hen insisting that they were closing and we need to leave; immediately (even though the mall and their cart didn't close for another 45 minutes. The HB6 was trying to keep us there, but we left.

Any suggestions for a situation like this?

i really don`t know if that affirmation by the HB6 was the problem: I have found that girls under the 5 barrier often try to savotage your game, so i always try not to leave the under5 unnatended any time in the beggining. Any way under5s bitches ( meaning all of them who really are a problem) come in two kinds:
some just want some attention, not sexual interest, and if they get it, they are going to like you, and they will even help you with her friend.
some others need sexual interest, and won`t settle with just showing interest, and they will try to ruin your game no matter what you do ( or at least i haven`t found a good counter for them yet) so normally i would just try to gain some seconds for a phone close ( or whatever you want to call the phone thing. It is not the close, but it can be the close for a particular moment if you can`t get more)
By the way I like the more realistic approach to HB level. Many times i just wonder if there are so many 9.5 and 10 around as i read in some messages.

I remember I think mystery said that you shouldn't neg girls who aren't hott lol. They will take it to heart. Neggin a beautiful girl is cool a good 5-10 negs, the uglier the less negs "Do you lie to HB4" she took as an insult lol, good job though.

My suggestion for dealing with girls like this is:

Go away and find another set. Ground breaking! Obviously, your line of questioning pissed her friend off, or at least gave her a good excuse to cockblock. When you piss people off, go away. It's really not worth the effort of turning that around unless she's an 8 or higher. You CAN turn it around through judicious use of humor and DHV, but unless she's someone you NEED to sleep with, just eject.

I run on an interger system. 1 is a completely average girl. 10 is Julia Stiles or Claire Danes (either one would fulfill my personal Hollywood fantasies; I like them tall and flexible). -10 is Margaret Thatcher, post-retirement (all women with power are hot, even Margaret). The middle is everyone else.
