In my classroom, an HB10 who I exchanged numbers with sent me a random cellphone txt message.
I decided to have fun with her, not putting too much emphasis on outcomes, etc.... here's how it went:

HB10: Are you the president of the peanut farm?
Me: Yes. Yes I am... want some peanuts?
HB10: yes, a dozen please.
Me: No!... not peanuts for you!
HB10: no peanuts for me? but why?
Me: because you can't afford them
HB10: yes I can. I sell, you buy.
Me: sorry, my peanuts are too big for you
HB10: lol you're bad
Me: you started it
HB10: hehe

the convo ends there... it was fun... just wanted to share that with you ppl.

I can tell she was enjoying it because I could see her from across the room and every time she read my messages, she would smile.

I think txt messaging is a good way to flirt with a girl, especially if you can see each other from both sides of the room.

Yeah i totally agree that texting can be A LOT of fun... sometimes if you get her number/email but you werent able to talk for very long then i go from texting/instant messaging, to phone call, to date
