The situation: Invited to a dinner party last night with a couple of people that I know and my friend's woman friend who I've never met, she's the one that became the target from the get go when she walked in and I was cooking.

I used my cooking for DHV and later I was able to chat with her for a few moments alone and we come to learn that we both have a background in theater and film, and an affinity toward cooking. Sure enough I was able to number close.

Next Monday the group is slated to have dinner at her house so I'll be looking to escalate things higher and it's already been established that we'll be headed off for a drink sometime in the near future.
