There is a lot to this, but I'll try to keep it short. Went out last nite with a some friends. They had somebody they wanted me to meet, so it was basically a blind date situation. Met the girl, she was somewhat chubby, but otherwise "do-able" for lack of a better term. This blind date wasnt necessarily meant to bring two lonely people together in hopes of fireworks and passion, it was really just suppposed to be a one time hook-up / get laid type thing, which I was cool with. Didnt work out that way, but it was still a really cool and fun night...
First off, we went to this bar and this girl and I start talking. And we actually connect on a lot of things! Then we go to a different nearby town and hit a bar there. There are four of us alltogether - 2 girls, 2 guys. The more my "date" drinks, the more she starts to gravitate toward other poeple in the bar. I've never been to this place before - I'm 50 miles from home, but everyone I was with knew some of the people here, so I'm completely out of my element and comfort zone. Anyway, my date's female friend is trying to tell this girl that she needs to talk to and hang out with me more, because, afterall, that was the purpose of the whole night. My date apparently told this girl that she did in fact like me, but the booze were kinda affecting her too much, so she was only talking to the poeple that were giving her attention. I thought I had given her enough attenetion, but she seemed to crave more than I was offering. The other three of us ended up ditching her at the bar. I felt kinda bad about that, because I still thought she was a cool chick. I found out later on from the other girl in our group, that there were two other hot girls at that bar, who were asking her about me and my male friend. These girls thought he and I were "cute". One of them, I actually danced with after I lost interest in my date and her wanderings.
However, I firmly believe that if I had walked into that bar alone, there is NO WAY those other two girls would have displayed any interest in me. Pre-selection plays a HUGE role in how a woman is attracted to a guy! These girls saw the four of us walk in together. And if the 2 girls me and my friend were with were willing to be seen in public with us - then guess what? Other girls take notice! We MUST be cool guys in their minds! It's one thing to hear about and read about the effects of pre-selection, but to actually live the experience like I did last nite - it rings more true than ever!
