Hi,

I'm new here, but the forum seems great. I was wondering if anyone knows what I could have done best yesterday.

So yesterday, I went to eat at a friend's house. He told me his house mate, a girl, would be there as well and she would bring two other friends. So yeah, I was like alright, cool. I went over there and formal introductions were being made to the girl. We did some small talk etc, then here friend arrived and we went shopping for food. We went back home and my friend + her went to cook the food. There was another friend there and I lead him to talk to the other girl. Had a good conversation, her friend obviously liked me. We ate together and again I was leading the conversation, laughter was taking place and it was all good stuff. After that we went to drink something (alcohol, not a lot tho) and watched television. At this point I was sitting next to the girl (my target) and I wanted to things to start progressing. Didn't really know what to do though, I guess I should have introduced some kino-escalation. However, her body language was quite negative and didn't really know how I could possibly start flirting or start progressing things.

Does anyone have an idea what I could have done? In a club it's all so much easier, but at someone's house with friends there... :C
