Looks like that my help backfired on me apparently talking to my collages. Here's how the scope went down.

We went to this ghetto bar where gangbangers roamed the bar. We didn't know this until we got there. Full of Mexicans but actually they were really cool - I thought.

There was this black chick dancing and having fun with herself, and dancing with her girlfriend. My friend told me to approach her and told Jason to approach her - I said, "Sorry dude I'm having a day off, I approached two people last night."

So, she started dancing with some guy and this discouraged my friend Jason and I told him to not worry about it that she's having fun. She got done dancing with the guy and her and her girlfriend walked in the game room, so Jason walked in there about to talk with her. I watched carefully and I had a funny feeling he might not say anything. So I approached her and put my hand on her shoulder.

STEALTH: Hey, what's up? This is my friend Jason! *Put hand on Jason Shoulder*
HB8.5: What's your name?
STEALTH: My name is [Real name].
HB8.5: Hi, Paul, I'm Britney!
STEALTH: This is my friend Jason!
Britney: Hi, Jason!

I walked away hoping that they would talk. Jason was busy playing the game where you punch the punching bag and it measures the force of your punch. When he was done she went up and punched the punching bag and I was like, "Oh man!" because it was a low score. Then her girlfriend went up and punched the punching bag and it was a low score and but I cheered her on. I told her to try again and so she did. Again, abit higher score than the last score.

I turn to Britney:

STEALTH: You got a cigarette?
BRITNEY: Only if you light it for me?

I grab the cigarette from her hand and lite it and the take a couple of puffs and passed it back. I didn't realize this but she made a move on me - or what you guys would call this creating a hoop. When she said that she looked at me sideways which is a good sign.

She was dancing to some music and I was going to say something related to the song but this guy came up and started talking to her. Cockblocked! So, I just walked away! This guy's a gangbanger - I'm not going to mess with a gangbanger.

The only reason we were at the bar was because our friend bounced there.

I think she was into me but if I would've made my move I probably would've deterred the guy from approaching my target - but maybe not.

So later on that night, she was dancing with the same guy and dancing with her friend, then dancing with some other guy and I was still trying to get my friend too approach her. My friend couldn't think of reopening the target and I told him he didn't need to reopen her - just dance with her or just be like what's up and transition from there.

Again, he's new and he's on this forum. So, I'm being patient with him but I think the best solution for him is to give him the space he needs.

Any ideas on how to help my friend out or should I help myself?

Any ideas on how I should do better without being cock blocked next time?

I think I was being hesitate for some reason - I don't know why. I wasn't executive enough.
