I’m in the espy. To all the Aussies reading, you know what this means.

It’s the main bar in St Kilda, which is the part of Melbourne that all the tourists flock to. Think Brits, Irish, Scandos, Germans, Canadians etc.

I’m there with a non pua mate, I’ve known for years, who I’ve just revealed that I’m a attraction coach in London, he cant believe it and asks me for a demo.

Im completely in state, and comfortable in this environment. I’m bouncing around this place, talking to everyone. I’m working about 4 sets simultaneously, building jealousy plots and generally taking the piss out of everyone. Its working as I’m getting ioi’s from a set of girls across the room. I leave them to marinade in my preselected frame, as a gorgeous tall blonde moves across the room with effortless grace and plonks herself in front of me, watching the band. Shes there with a chode-ish looking scando bloke with a homeless beard. I open her directly, (Hey, I’m Burto) and start bantering about Helsinki and the flying cat show. (shes finnish by the way) she loves it. We are talking about Europe and I’m throwing in DHV’s about teaching my nephew how to surf. Shes looking at me with the doggy bowl eyes. I ask her if this guy is her boyfriend and she immediately replies ‘NO!’ hmmmm ioi much?

Im holding her close to me now and im brushing my face against hers as I speak into her ear. She tells me she has to leave as shes meeting her friends, and asks me to join her. But I can’t. I don’t leave my mates behind. I email/number close and she says she will bring her friends back later….

Shes starting to walk away, but hesitantly, I’m holding her hands, her pinky actually, and as she leaves, im still holding it, she looks at me and I pull her in for the kiss close. I break away, and shes got a grin like a Cheshire cat. I send her on her way. I am looking forward to seeing her again, but unfortunately I left the bar a few hours after that (With HB Swedish – see report) so I didn’t see her when she returned. But shes back in Helsinki now, and we keep in touch. Im sure ill see her again one day.

Now my mate is looking at me, he was standing next to me watching me, trying to figure out what I had done….he’s a natural by the way, has a cockiness and confidence that is brilliant. He’s sold on the idea of me getting hot women. The burto that he knew from a few years ago, was the bloke who never got women, the guy that was insecure, the guy who didn’t know how to act socially was dead. This new Burto had just kiss closed a stunning scandonavian woman within 10 minutes of meeting her.

Things to take away from this

- Always assume that every set is going to go well. And always assume that the woman is very attracted to you until proven otherwise

- Use kino to massive advantage in loud venues.

- Travel, it broadens the mind and most of my hookups have always been while travelling…..tourists have less hang ups about hooking up. – ‘What happens on the road – stays on the road’
