This field report is a little overdue. Roughly two weeks ago I went out to the club and opened a couple sets but only had one that really stuck. This girl was sitting by herself and talking to this guy so I opened them both up with one of my own openers and it went well. I started to focus on the girl since it became pretty apparent that he wasn’t with her. So he left and I continued to run some routines on her. Then her cousin came over with one of their mutual guy friends.
She was an hb 8 with a little southern accent!  So I switched gears and went to the cousin. I ran a couple gambits that went well.
I really don’t remember a whole lot so I just want to hit a couple main points:
1. She asked me to buy her a drink and I didn’t so her guy friend did. Meanwhile he sat there quietly while I chatted her up.
2. She left with her guy friend to go dance but I stayed and gamed the friend. When she came back her IoI’s were through the roof.
3. Never ever ever ever ever go out onto the dance floor if you have no idea what you are doing. Its good for cheap kino but is ultimately not solid game and just because its done on the dance floor does not mean it will transfer into the real world. I realized this when I blew a relatively awesome set by trying to mover her on to the dance floor.
4. Grab her by the hand to take her dancing and then instead of dancing, take advantage of the isolation and run your dhv routines.
5. Have fun and crash and burn. I learned more screwing this set up then I have only have heartedly running other sets.
That’s pretty much it.
