This is a technique I've used in the past and I'll share it as it will be of great help to many of you. Simply put, it gives a vivid imagery to the HB in order invoke her sense of adventure and get her to qualify.

This one is from a girl I've been pursuing but can work on any day two, especially if you're not sure what to do. It's spontaneous and adventurous


we chat for a bit and then more fluff talk.. blah blah blah
BOB: sweet, so the wind reports say it should be fairly windy at the beach
SARA: excellent
BOB: that it is, it makes things more fun.. i mean when was the last time you sat out on a bluff or by the rocks at the beach and just let the sound of the wind, waves, and birds swallow you up?
SARA: a couple of weeks ago.. but not often enough in general
BOB: isn't it nice though
SARA: that it is
BOB: exactly.. so that's what i'm doing tonight. but i can't decide between the rocks of the cove or the bluff of 15th street...
BOB: which do you think? (open ended vague question to invoke her imagination)
SARA: i don't know the bluff on 15th but the one by the gliderport is amazing though
BOB: really? i've never been there, what's it like (get her to start qualifying to you why you should choose her choice)
SARA: steep cliffs, deserted beach, amazing view of downtown
BOB: and the sounds?
SARA: delicious long pause of silence
SARA: what time are you going?
BOB: within the next hour or two
BOB: why do you ask?(leave it open as it's tentative, you want her to want to go because she feels left out)
SARA: i really want to go now (whining)
BOB: hmm, i'm not sure i want to take you
SARA: fair enough
BOB: but then again, i don't know how to get there, would you like to be my guide? (of course i know where the place is though)
SARA: as long as you don't mind going around 12
BOB: i think i can hold off until then.. should i bring a blanket or towel to sit on? (don't blatantly make things sexual, innuendos always work great.)
SARA: it depends if you want to go on the cliffs or the beach
BOB: both?
SARA: then bring a big towel
SARA: i've decided on the best word to describe the cliffs at night
BOB: shoot
SARA: intoxicating
BOB: that's a very good choice of words.
BOB: ioh.. and i have a surprise by the way
SARA: i was about to ask what it was, but thought better of it
BOB: you failed!
SARA: i know, i do that a lot
BOB: well, if you don't fail again tonight i'll bring the suprise.
SARA: deal
(cut it short now so all she can do is think about it)
BOB: i'll call you at 11:45 and you can tell me where to pick you up at

vivid imagery you could say would fall under NLP but it's definitely not subconscious. i just wanted her to invite herself to enjoy the night. I'm about 10 minutes late calling her though so i'll get back with a further field report in oh... 4-6 hours
