Hey guys

It was my SPAM's birthday so myself and a few friends went to a local bar. Inside were these HB8 and HB9 sitting at a table. And my friend was like "You are the man for chatting up girls, lets go and make something happen," so I went over and opened the HB9 and he opened the HB8.

Initially this girl wasn't receptive, as opposed to her friend who my friend was easily winning. But we eventually got talking and since she could see her friend wasn't going anywhere she didn't really have a choice.

She told me where she was from and I knew it quite well so I made a neg about the sorts of people who are there...She was like you can't call me that, (I called her a yuppie) and she gave me the finger. But her attitude was kind of annoying me, as she obviously knew she was stunning and I wanted to bring her down to Earth, so I carried on. When she said again you can't call me that, I replied that she just gave me rthe finger and so I could call her what I wanted, which she laughed at.

The lesson here is to be largely unresponsive to her shit tests. I'd forgotten her name, and she was like I told you it twice, and she told me to guess. I got it wrong and she said she was very offended (all of this seemingly seriously), and she said she would give me one more chance and then if I got it right she would give me a kiss, and if not we were done. This annoyed me, and I said well i'm not going to tell you something I don't know, and if we're done then we're done, but if it offends her then she probably takes offence too easily.

I think that took her aback, and she softened up, and said I cpuld have one more guess with a kiss and if not she would tell me. I got it, and got the kiss, to the bemusement of my friends at the bar.

Then I number closed her, but told her the true story of how my phone wasn't working at the moment because I lost it and had to cancel the contract. And she was like, I don't believe this, you're not giving me a real number. I said, believe as you wish, i can prove it to you, and I showed her my number in a friends phone, and she begrudgingly apologised.

She was purposefully difficult, but I enjoyed the challenge. We said we'd do dinner later on this week, and that I would get her on Facebook to arrange. She said she'd make sure it was a very fun dinner.

The only thing is, she was slightly tipsy, so I didnt want to wait till I Facebooked her in case she forgot, so I did it this evening, which isn't ideal but there we go.

The basic lessons are that sometimes you have to be really on your toes. I was never, however, rude to her, just fair, and made it clear that I wasn't going to take her shit. She would have blown out any other guy exhibiting different behaviour. I'll let you know how the Day 2 goes.
