Gentlemen, have you ever got pissed that you always have to do the approaches? You know you have to, but you ever get really dissappointed in the fact that you have to carry the conversational burden that you have to nearly kill yourself with stage fright just to meet someone?

You ever wonder what it would be like to have a girl approach you? Well don’t worry, you don’t have to be gay to have to have someone else stress over talking to you. Because it happens people, rarely (because most girls don’t have any balls), but it does. Maybe it’s because I’ve been talking to strange girls I don’t know since I was fourteen that allows me to have stories like this… I don’t know, what I do know is that every once in a while you get something interesting to tell people who have been through this before.

I was on the train, going downtown. there were people filling the train to go clubbing that night. I’m one of those guys that don’t have a good time unless I pickup a girl that’s interested in me (I usually go alone, maybe that’s why). It’s just one of the many things that make me… me. Behind me there was this girl just listening to music on her walkman (they still make those?!), so I start to talk to her. Things were going absolutely no where, but you know your boy I don’t quit till the girl walks away, too much piss and vinegar in this soldier.

That’s when I notice a girl walk from across the other side of the train leaving her friend behind just to sit next to me… but do I notice? No. Only because I’ve never actually been hit on a girl before (note I was 16 I was barely two years old in pickup terms ,but due to early shaving and god’s love I look a little older than I am).

There I was talking to a girl who wasn’t even close to interested and there was a girl coming out of her way to be hit on by and what do I do? Ignore the better looking girl that wants me, instead I focus ALL my attention on the girl who doesn’t want me!

I hear the girl next to be making giggling noises at my jokes, so I incorporate her in the conversation but she doesn’t seem very interested in talking to the other girl just me… damn this is hard work.

The girl behind me leaves (thanks to god), and the girl next to me let’s call her… Sasha, asked me what I’m into. So I say ‘fashion week, aren’t you so excited?’

Sasha surprises me by saying ‘Actually I haven’t read anything or seen any magazine, I’ve been under a rock for a while’

‘Well how could you possibly go around without knowing about Taylor Swift and Kanye?’

‘Well I’ve been in a place where we don’t watch tv, or read magazines or newspapers’

‘… You sound like you were in a jail in South America, at least here you get to watch CNN’

‘Oh no I was in a house where you just don’t do anything but stay there, so it’s almost like a jail but not quite’

WHAT?! A WHORE HOUSE?!

At this point I NEED TO KNOW! I’m thinking maybe she’s a prostitute, her friend looks pretty dirty but hey I don’t judge.

‘So… where were you?’ I asked

‘Ummm… well I was in a VD clinic’

‘…what now?’

‘It’s like Rehab’

Well damn that’s not all that bad, so sometimes it takes solitary confinement to pickup a boy she don’t know, but hey this girl leaves her friend behind, walks up to me and sits next to me and does everything but talk to me ( I know guys who do less with girls who smile at them and wink at them). This girl is clearly a State Trooper!
