So I go into a HotTopic and see a HB 7 and think to myself WTF I'll see how far I can go with this PUA stuff (mind you Im new, half through The Game and trying to read and You Tube as much as possible). So I go in and the girl approaches me and gives the normal welcome (blah)..."how can I help"?

Me: "Yeah, I guess you'll do."
Her: (Smile)
Me: " I need a new necklace."
Her:"What do you plan to do with it?"
Me: (looking at other things and stop to think quizzically) "... I think I plan to wear it..."

Me: (Family Guy Humor gear shift) "So your saying you like things that are big... Ok seriously, if you were my girlfriend you would play with this on me?"
Her: "Definitely..."

Manager (around my same age) to her: "Hey can I speak to you for a sec?"

They both leave and she doesnt come back, I look around and see her a the front of the store again looking a little nervous.

I pull the closest store rep to me and ask
Me: "where did my helper go she was showing me necklaces?!"
Him:"Yeah she got into trouble because shes supposed to be at the front of the store."
Me:"Let me rephrase what you just said. THe manager has been trying to hit on her for a couple of weeks now and I walk in and get her like *snap my fingers*. Am I right?"
Him:"Yeah, our manager is a dick."

Im lost at this point I have no idea on what to do, IE no experience with this stuff... so I get the necklace she suggested. and walk up to her on my way out and tell her how much I think it sucked that she got into trouble and that I would be willing to show her manager my new necklace up close.

She kinda turned away still looking nervous. I wasnt sure if she was offended by what I said or what nor how to recover from that kind of situation.

Damn dude sorry I saw others doing it so I did it ...ONCE!! please reply when you get off the rag because your sounding like southerncross. Besides when I come on here, like I think others do, I don't scan every category for posts, I think people with way too much time on their hands do that. I figured I would put this post in one other place to get a wide range of posts and people who noticed it here would understand, I guess not.

It sounds to me like the manager called her away from you because he thought you were making her uncomfortable and rather than put you on the spot, he pretended like he needed her. I mean, I wasn't there but it sounds like that was what was going on and you didn't see it.

Unless you are getting a strong vibe from one, it has been my experience that sarging HBs while they are working is a waste of time.

That's true: shops or pubs are just bad places to sarge girls. I am also not confident to sarge girls in their working place, small chances of success.

I remember sarging a waitress who actually fancied me, and seeing her boss also call her to tell her something. He most probably just told her not to flirt with clients or something like that. That should explain why your assistant got too nervous to talk to you again.
