(If you dont want to read the story, just skip to the bottom)

This little undesirable event happened today at my school's dance.
Yeah im not that old just so ya know.
I thought this was a perfect chance to try out some DHV spikes, openers, and test the things I've been researching in a social setting to see what would work for me. I got two girls to go with me "as friends" so I could enter with them and get a DHV spike, credit to the MM. I was all dressed up, y'know wearing stylish clothes, clothes fashionable at a club scene. I thought everything would go great, I had a wingman set up and a few routines to try to be versatile in my approach. Everything was on a loose plan.
But,
The wingman ditched and another couldn't be found in time, The music was too deafening, so most of what I planned was useless. yelling becomes uncomfortable when trying to socialize in a loud dance. Also the main problem, the girls I was gonna go with who I was close with didn't wait, because I was getting some other girls to go with me too, trying to up my DHV a lot. Doesn't matter though.
Wht happened at the actual dance though was a downhill event. I got there but was nervous because I didn't know how to dance. The girl (her name was Maria) that I was with, and brought with me, wasn't the target but I played into the psychological game of jealously and that screwed me over. After about half an hour I started to dance, mainly because Maria was bugging me to and it worked great for comfort levels. We were dancing, And I kept coming and going, telling her I had to go dance with these other girls, that were my friends, and having to get my friends to dance, (pre-selection and Protector DHV). She gave me IOI's, touching and verbal IOIs, but I wanted to play the whole DHV of leaving temporarily to do those things.
In my absence this one guy blew the set (it was more than one girl) to hell. I got there as he was entertaining my target, and he, unlike me, did a lot more kino-escalation and got really close to her, I thought he would kiss close for a while, luckily that didn't happen. He smashed down the barriers of naturally being apprehensive and as much as I wanted to hate him, he beat me, and I give him props for that. I just decided to leave when my friends did and that whole set was an hour long waste of time.

Finally the moral of the story. If you're on a dance floor with really loud music, you have a reason to get close and talk, so comfort levels can be more easily brought up. When dancing, kino is fairly easy if you take the chance and get more physically intimate. If you want a girl, dont try to play it really safe, just go for it, go all out with your little routines and negs, as well as kino escalating and seduction when you get the IOI.
Dont make my mistake if you can help it.[/b]
