Hey guys,

I am new here so I wanted some advice. I have been gaming for a few months but not long and still have lots of sticking points... Tonight I got a super difficult blonde girl and I didn't know how to deal with her!?

Its all in the FR below and I would appreciate advice on it!

So I went out solo tonight.

Got into my favourite bar at 11.30pm.

Go up to the toilet as something about the cold weather makes me need to piss... and I decide that I will start opening as soon as I get down back to the bar.

I walk down to the bar and stand by it. The bartender asks me what I want to drink but I decide that I don't want to drink or I will waste time.

So I walk up and approach my first set.

2 Set "Super Bitch Girl"

I am calling her this for amusement for you guys only! I don't consider her to really be a bitch just a challenge that I failed at!

I opened with the set up opener to a very hot blonde girl and a decent looking brunette.

The blonde gives me a really bitchy answer "tell her she is ugly" but the brunette starts asking me more questions. I negged the blonde as she deserved it and carried on talking to the blonde.

I transition with "how do you guys know each other" To be honest I didn't FTC first which was bad and the blonde immediately starts making lots of random noises and telling me I am boring.

I try negging her again with the wigly nose one and she kinda stops for a second to think about it (she sorta looked up at her nose which was funny) and then carried on bitching.

I did the "you can take her out ...." neg but again not much reaction. Everytime I said something the blonde would just raise her voice and call me boring.

I did try to ignore her and talk to the brunnette but then the blonde grabs the brunettes face and makes her ignore me... sweet girl lol

Eventually I give up and go for the nice to meet you handshake and they both refuse.

So what do I do? I see a 2 set behind me and turn around and open them...

So questions/ideas relating to these girls...

The brunette was much nicer and was happy to talk but the blonde (who was definately drunk) was trying to stop her.

I didn't want to neg or "plow" over the blonde because it would have meant shouting literally and I didn't want to draw attention to myself...

I suppose I could have done a cold read on the brunette based on her rings or finger length.

If I am honest I was probably TOO concerned with the blonde because for a few minutes I was talking to the brunette without the blonde actively interfering.

I did try to stay in set AS LONG as possible to see how far I could push it. I really sat there until they were both ignoring me more or less. Although I never actually said anything after the opener except they looked friendly which didn't work obviously!

Any thoughts or suggestions on what I could have done here would be great!

2 Set: Met Them Before. 2 Number Closes.

So turn around and see 2 brunettes. I am not sure how hot they are but I know I need to show that I don't care about that stupid blonde and can have a chat with anyone and that she is the socially strange one and not me.

I open with the "my friends are having a boring conversation" direct opener.

And I look at the girls and they look familiar. They tell me I used that "line" on them before! and ask if I remmeber them... lol

I reply that its not a line and that those girls really were boring (and I am sure they heard what that blonde was shouting out!).

I ask them if they remmeber my name. I ask them if they remmeber my wing that night that I opened them with the same opener and they do. (I think he may have number closed the shorter ugly one as well that night. I will have to check...)

We get into a conversation based on that and I ask them what they did that night and make some small talk based on what they told me before and then I run the cube on the attractive girl of the 2 set and they seem to like it.

Then the HBuglier one goes and gets a drink and asks me if I want one. Of course I say yes!

While she is away I ask the HBHotter some things (unfortunately I don't recall what).

They queston me on where my friends are when they other girl gets back.

I run the "jerk routine" from CJ's adventure e-book (although I think it is a TD original) and that gets some laughs.

Then onto the "ski sex accident" story. And its going well intermixing routines with normal conversation.

At one point they discuss salsa -which I do and HBuglier tells me I should show HBhotter some moves. So I stand up and grab her hand but she is too embarressed.

HBhotter asks me if "I come here often" and I tell her if she is going to hit on me she has to be more original which gets laughs.

I then do the Hookah/Shisha timebridge (I have no idea why they both loved that idea - I don't see the appeal!) and then we talked some more. HBHotter tells me her ex-bf has one and she hasn't smoked any in months.

And I invited them to the timebridge and number closed them both (of course I have no idea if they numbers were real but I will text tomorrow).

At this point they are discussing leaving. HBhotter asks me where I am going...

IDIOT ALERT!: 2 hours later I realise this is a logistical question and could have led to a) a bounce b) a shag. Why I didn't follow it up I don't know.

I exited the set gave them both hugs and got kisses and I said I would buy them a drink next time (as they bought me one) and HBHotter asks me "what about the shisha....?"

I say maybe and walk off...

I didn't qualify the hotter girl because I felt that it was wierd as I met them before.

Kino never really happened either though they were happy to hug and kiss me at the end.

I still don't get why that time-bridge is sooo good? every other time bridge suggestion (gig, party) failed miserably on previous attempts.

So I leave the set and see a guy I recognise.

Just a quick side note.

I found the hotty on facebook. She has a unique name so it was easy to find her and I was curious if she was on there.

It says she "is in a relationship" - At no point did she ever last time I met or or tonight mention a bf... and yet she was keen on the shisha...

What do you guys reckon I should make of that?

So I go over start talking to them and being friendly and tell them about game (for some reason I want to tell every guy I meet about it...).

I see a brunette I recognise behind me. I open her and realise that she is a friend of a friend on TAF. So I talk to her for a while and make small talk but don't try anything at all although she seems a bit nervous around me as if she is interested.

She then runs off to the toilet (which was cute) and I go back to the guys at the bar I know. I tell them I can start a conversation with anyone here and look around. I see a mixed 4 set - 2 guys and 2 girls.

Mixed 4 Set "Lesbian/Gay lovers"

So I open the situationally asking where they recommend going and sit down next to them as they are on large comfy chairs.

I then transition with how they know each other and they start acting strange and saying the guys are a couple and the girls are as well.

The guys are obviously drunk and look totally AFC even though they have two girls with them and they don't look like they are couples of any type. They look like friends.

There is an incredibly hot brunette across from me and she seems to lean foward into me and be really interested. Loads of IOIs.

She asks me if I am gay?

What is that about and what should I say?

I tell her that her last boyfriend didn't spank her enough and she asks me why I said that and I tell her she looks like the bad one (second time this has happened to me with that tease...) and then the guy next to me says I should be poilte to the girls and I tell them they are both beautiful.

I tell them the "ski accident" story and at this point the other girl and guy and talking and the other guy looks like he is scared of his beer and looks lost and confused.

The girl that asked me if I was gay stares into my eyes and looks really interested. I look at the guy for approval (IDIOT ALERT 2!)

And carry on with the story... I realise I could have started qualifying the girl as I had obvious signs of interest but carried on with the story.

She laughed and loved it and the one of the guys doubted it was real but I ignored him and then he repeated it to the other girl who wasn't paying attention.

The guy then told me that they were going back for an orgy and I wasn't invited.

I told him I had girls every night and has time management issues!

So then the hot girl asks me where my girl for tonight is in a slow seductive manner...

I am thinking about what I can say to that when the bouncer/Door man comes over and tells us that the bar is closed and the guys get up.

I stand up shake all their hands (both the girls have firm handshakes!) and I tell them I want to compare who is more firm. The girl that was showing interest puts her hand out but the other girl says "no" and something about not wanting to touch me again...? and so I decide to cut it and tell them it was nice to meet them and they leave.

The "gay question" girl was clearly showing an interest and maybe I should have tried to number close her but I was worried the guys would cock block me.

To be honest if they did I would have ended up with no number which is what happened with her anyway so thats no different! I also know that these girls saw me talking to the other girls before that I number closed and the bitchy ones as they were all sitting close together.

Any suggestions on what I could have done here?

So I then see another set of 4 guys and 1 girl. I decide to open situationally
and one of the guys immediately starts calling me gay and trying to insult me.

Unfortunately I don't even get his insult so it doesn't have much effect. And the guys on this table are all drunk. The girl here shows me interest giving me kino touching my arm and when we shake hands holds me hand for a long time. In fact so long it becomes wierd and she pulls away as I don't move!

But again the bouncer tells us the place is closed so I say bye and leave.

At this point my friend randomly texts me that his is in a bar around the corner ( at 1am!) so I go around and I see quite a few hot girls but it is very busy in the bar.

I miss the chance to open a hot blonde at the bar who when the bartender makes a rude joke about his finger and her vagina looks at me with her mouth open.

Another hot blonde then puts her arms around me and slides beside me. Again I don't react or try and open despite knowing a few bar openers.

I go sit with my friends and see that same blonde who man handled me sitting with 5 guys. I watch her and when she has a space near her I pounce.

Direct 1 Set:

I decide its 1.30am and I can't be bothered to open indirect a big mixed set so I sit down next to her and touch her shoulder so she turns to me and possibly I say "excuse me" - which if I did (memory is a bit foggy as its late!) I know I shouldn't have.

I tell her that she is absolutely gorgeous and shake her hand and introduce myself.

I suffer from brain freeze her for a momment and I am lost for words.

I then ask her to "tell me something" about herself.

She looks at me and says "why?".

That throws me... So I need to think of what to say and then she tells me that she doesn't want things to be awkward but her ex-bf is standing at the same table.

So I tell her I understand and it was nice to meet her and she has a cool ring and leave and go back to my table (all of 1 step away from her!).

What could I have done better?

I decided on direct because it was late. However I think I should have asked her what she had going for her other than her looks because I feel that the qualification statement I used was too "weak" and general and maybe lacked punch and she needed to know I was different from other drunk guys... even though I had not drunk anything at all (and never do as I am always driving!).

I learnt that in mixed sets it is probably better to go in indirect first but in this case I was willing to take the chance with direct due to the time.

So how was tonight for me?

2 number closes.
1 Hostile chick.
Plenty of obvious signs of interest I ignored and/or didn't know what to do about.

Improvements/Problems:

Still don't neg enough or pick target most of the time.
NEVER EVER try and isolate. Someone kick me.
Not qualifying enough.

What I did well:

For once a time bridge worked and the hotter girls seemed enthusiatic for it.

Of course my text game sucks and I hate phoning random girls so I don't know if a day 2 will happen here...
