I want to start my AFC thread. I really admire this community and I hope to get some tips from the pros and help some fellow newbies avoid mistakes I've made.

So the night started ot O'Tooles. My friend was having a going away party and we met up. Pretty much everyone I'd ever hung out with while in the Navy was there. It was good times, reminescing about the fun times and the drunk times, but that's not what me and JHell were out for.
We've spent the last week learning The Mystery Method, practicing openers and rapport building scenarios on each other. We critiqued each other, debated social dynamics, and figured out the best material (on paper) to put in to practice on the field.

We gave the signal to each other to split, said the right social outros, making sure that everyone knew we had something of dire importance keeping us from enjoying the night with them. We ended up with three tag-alongs that were welcome due to them having a car and us having sold ours.
We parked at a parking structure about four blocks from the first club we were to hit and no one even bothered to mention that it was raining. So we get out of the parking structure and see that it's raining and just say "fuck it". My mentality was that this was something new that I would inevitably have to deal with at some point in my gaming life so it's best to get it out of the way right now and learn how to work with it. We walked the few blocks, got to Moose's, and as I made friendly chit-chat with the door staff I was completely oblivious to my friend (tag-along) getting refused entry due to his wearing a jersey (Dallas I think?). So I sarge into the club, determined to open the first set of decent looking girls, oh, well, anyone, I immediately saw. Lucky for me I stumbled upon a 2-set, a 7 and an 8, and jumped right in.

"It....Is....Raining."

And that opened. They said I looked like a backstreet boy with my wet shirt and I gave her a hug, getting her equally soaked, and proceeded chit-chat with the 7. They were playing some game with little toy pigs, something they picked up in Vietnam (they were white). I tried to learn the rules of the game, they took tons of pictures (tourists) and I said that I had to see what was taking my friends so long. I disappeared, hoping to build a sense of wanting me back, and went across the street where they were gathered due to not being able to get in. I walked in and got mad IOIs from very hot girls, but I, being a social retard, had no idea what to do with them so I just ignored them and found JHELL. He was drinking a beer with the other tag-alongs. I explained what heppened with the 2-set across the street at Moose's, and explained that I thought I should go in and re-open while he got two drinks so we could play this weird pig drinking game they were playing. Also I talked to some girl sitting behind me and asked her if I looked like a backstreet boy and if that was bad. She laughed and my social retardation got the best of me as I didn't know how to seguey that into meaningful conversation so me and JHELL left. We got back into Moose's and the 2-set were being occupied by 2 other guys. I remembered the term AMOG from "The Game," which I'd been listening to on MP3 earlier, and realized that I HAD to assert me and JHELL as the AMOGs of the group. I grabbed a chair, reopened on the same thread I'd left on (should've had a new one?) and JHELL kept walking, supposedly to get drinks. The 7 was easy to engage but the 8 was still engaged with the "AMOGs" I mentioned earlier. I could see the thread starting to die so I grabbed a camera and started looking through it. She's all "You're nosy" to which I said "I just want to see what y'all have been up to. By the looks of things y'all have been playing this pig game the whole time."

-I am le sleepy so I'll return and finish this tomorrow-
