You had it in the palm of your hand you just didn't wrap your fingers around it. My favorite thing to do is a start tickling her and while that she will squirm and try to get away and while you are chasing her you get really close to her then stop like you are tired. Make eye contact for about 3-5 seconds and move in. When you make eye contact it is really easy to see if she wants to be kissed or not.
Like the others said it was not the right time to use the kissing line like that out of the blue. Most times the kiss is all implied or screamed by body language.
Now this pillow fight is exactly like my tickling routine. you should have pinned her and then made eye contact and moved in. No verbalizing is needed the body language says more than enough. I've never done the pillow fight for the plain and simple reason I have one pillow on my bed
The other thing that I noticed was when you woke her up. You should have just let her sleep over "accidently" woke her up by cuddling up against her or something of that sort.
