Ok so i had establist way over 3 IOIs got keno, serious eye contact! so i grabed the back of her head gently leaned in for kiss and bam

Im sure she just felt bad cause it was infront of heaps of people... anyidear

I'm not to sure about grabbing the back of her head (let someone else talk about that), but I would have kept close and said "I understand", none of this "whohoo, I made a mistake and now regret it".

Her friends were there, maybe she didnt want to look to slutty infront of them or easy infront of other guys, maybe you hadn't demonstrated high enough value for her to do that at whatever venue you were at. (Give more detail in future posts)

Either way, props for getting out there and trying it.

Listen to her objection.

"I don't do that kind of thing here." That means that she was uncomfortable with your location, and not you. You're still in the good. Pay attention to details like that when it comes to objections.
