So... I was out again, not really in the mood or with any intention to sarge. My hair in a mess and crappy clothes, unshaved and nonchalant.

Anyway I went into the bar and the hired gun greeting you (dont know what they are called, dont care) was a HB7-8 and I was like, whatever. Then she started IOIing me for things that people normally do, like my work, my name, etc. Normally hired guns do but this was besides the normal bull. So I told her that shed better greet other people but that I promise to talk to her later.
Some time later Im in another set which slowly turns into me and a blonde HB8 (people are leaving). So she has a BF but I dont care I get IOIs and social proof. Preselection too btw. After a while the greeting girl comes by and cleans up our empty cocktailglasses, I make the second girl laugh and renew my promise to talk to the first one later. After some time the second HB8 leaves for home and I go over to the table where the first one is talking to her friends. I go into the set (4set one guy) and start shooting the shit. The guy is obviously gay but I focus my attention on him and out alpha him easily, the other two girls are easy to lead too. But to my big annoyance, enter the AMOG... Another guy is entering the set starting speaking spanish to my hired gun. I run the rest of the set nicer and pull some cocky funny stuff and sometimes make references to the hired gun. When she asks what I just said about her I just reply, well dont worry about that, nothing. And the rest of the set laughs.
I figure out that we live close to each other and when it is time to leave we enjoy each others company. The hired gun suggests a walk and yeah, why not. At this time I have about 10 minutes to sarge her and I just say whatever smart thing I can based on what she just said.
So I run the first routine "the beauty is common routine". She likes it and we exchange numbers and decide on a possible day2 the day after (today) as well as some other stuff we can do together.
Today she found me on facebook and made the effort to contact me for tonight. Problem is that I am meeting my ex-MLTR tonight and will try to juggle them both. Not easy but possible.

So how did I numberclose a hired gun without using more than one routine?
Social proof, preselection, cocky funny but above all, INNER game!

Pure Solid Game Ezo! If you are able to DHV Flash to the rest of the room these qualities that you posses of being pre-selected, leader of men, and others then it works really well. Telling stories is one thing but actively doing them get you the girls. I've said it 100s of times that it's not so much about the words you speak but your actions in field.

I agree, many of the newbies and also some of the more experienced PUAs rely too much on canned material. Inner game is the most important part of a successful PU. I guess it is difficult to learn though and it is difficult to measure progress so this is why people tend to prefer outer game.

Also, I think that the field reports should have some kind of point like this one dealing with inner game, something you learned in the field... Not just, I kissed a girl and I liked it, taste of her cherry...

I completely agree with you. I am not going on a huge field report rant right now because it's not fair to your post. However, I severely hate the one paragraph field reports that usually say something like....."I opened this HB9 and negged. I could see her IOIs so I started doing CF and then kino'd her......"

It's like people are using all these damn terms to sound so intelligent like they knew what they were doing. *sigh* I'm glad to see a good bit of detail in your field reports, and you know what got you the girl. That is what it takes to get good is recognizing what does and doesn't get you the girl at the end of the day.
