Friday, Oct 3, 2008. The Royal in Bellingham, 2 Set, HB7(Argentinian) and HB9(Chilean) sitting down and talking facing outward toward the bar. I walk up from an angle and make eye contact with HB9 (obviously the target). "Hey lemme ask you a quick question then I have to go meet up with my friends." HB's approve accordingly. "Do you think drunk I love you's count?" HB7 answers no, HB9 answers yes. I direct my attention to HB7 to build comfort with her before I start getting at HB9. Convo went:

Casual: "So lets say a guy and a girl has been dating for 6 months and the guy finally works up the courage to say I love you. He's really shy, so he had to get drunk before he said it. He told her the next morning that he meant what he said last night. Do you think that counts?"
HB7: "Why does he have to get drunk before he tells her?"
Casual: "Because he's a really shy guy. Don't you think that alcohol brings out the truth in someone?"
HB9 answers the question even though I wasn't looking at her.
HB9: "Yes I believe that alcohol does bring out the truth in someone."
HB7: "Well that is true but I think that if he really means it, he would say it sober."
PUA: "I still think it counts, but honestly I would say it sober." (STACK) So I got a really intriguing question for you."
HB7 and HB9: "Ok go for it."

By this point I noticed 2 IOI's from each HB, and HB9 is really competing for more attention.

Casual: (DHV story with question) "So I was a book I was a book store a couple days ago (smart and educated), and this girl randomly walks up and talks to me (preselection) and asks me this funny question. I got it wrong and she looked at me weird saying that I was the only one to get it wrong. So are you ready for it?"
HB7/HB9: "Yea sure"
Casual: "So how many times does the number 9 appear between 1 and 100? Take your time to count"
HB7/HB9: Counting in the head.
Casual: (neg To HB9) You can use your fingers if you can't count in your head like your friend over here.
HB9: uses fingers
HB7: blah blah wrong answer.
HB9: disagrees and gets wrong answer.
Casual: "Hey guess what!? (happy excited smile) YOU GOT IT...... WRONG!! (HB's faces light up for a second and then drops) Well I'll give you one more try."
HB7/HB9: Insist that they are correct.
Casual: I show and tell them the right answer: 20 times. "So what are you two doing on the side looking bored while everyone is out having fun?"
HB7: "We're meeting up with friends."
HB9: We are having fun.
Casual: (neg) "This is my impression of you having fun." (I make a very serious face and totally mocked her). "So anyway, who are you here with?"
HB7: "We're meeting up with friends. You do know that we're both married right?" (Shit test)
Casual: "So I see your ring, where's yours? (negging HB9)"
HB9: "I left it at home."
Casual: "Oh whatever, you are so lying. If you're really married, you wouldn't be trying to flirt with me." So I stay for about 10 minutes fluff talking and throwing some DHV's, building rapport, kino escalate and did the best friends test." My friend walks up and says wassup and I introduce him to 2 set. I leave with friend for a bit, mingled around and number closed some other girl and come back to the 2 set.

Casual: "Hey, me and my friends are gonna go."
HB9: Interupts and asks for my number. Definite IOI. She started the kino escalation earlier btw.
Casual: "See I told you, you weren't married. Let me get your number first and maybe I'll decide later whether I should text A married woman my number or not."

Number closed the HB9. Her name is Lani.
