I went to my second college party today. It was everything I expected and more. My friends and I showed up early and payed our way in. I guess we were lucky because the first few people who showed up at the party got free drinks all night.

It started off slowly like most parties. While we waited for the party to get started I talking to my friends, taking extra care to not seem boring.(I'm actually a horrible conversationalist but I'll get into that more later.)

Once people started dancing that's when things got really crazy. To my surprise I was the first one to start dancing with a girl. She was walking by with her friends and I just grabbed her hand and started to dance with her. Not a "textbook" opener but it got me started. After we danced for a while she decided it was time for her to join her friends. I let her go because I decided if I want to be a PUA I wasn't going to chase the women. Seconds later I found another girl to dance with. In my mind I was thinking I'd be damned if I was gonna get caught just standing around.

Basically if anyone was near me I was going to talk to them(or at least try to). But the chats were short. It normally consisted of "Are you dancing?" or "Do you know my friend?" Just long enough to make it seem like I was a social being. Then I would GTFO of there.

Things I think I did right...

I was NOT a wall flower today! I was talking to people dancing with girl and moving all around the room. I was clearly part of the party. Not just watching it.

I did have a few nice little chats with people I didn't know. I even got a few laughs while socializing.

NO Chasing! If a girl wanted to go I would let her. There was no following a girl around in the club from me.

I never looked bored. I payed extra attention to always look like I was doing something and w/e I was doing it was fun.

Things I think I did wrong or need help with...

When I was dancing with girls they would ALWAYS say something like "I have to go back to my friends." Especially when I try to increase the interaction.
The best example is when I was dancing with this one girl randomly she said she had to find her friends. I said w/e but I told her to come back just to see if it'll work. After I danced with a few other girls I decided I was tried of waiting for her so I moved elsewhere. And there she was dancing by herself. We started to dance again then I did the dumbest move ever. I whispered "What do you want me to do" in her ear. I could hear the ASD alarms go off in her head. Said told me she had to go down to the first floor.

Conversation was short and went NOWHERE. I don't think people will remember me. Even the people I had a good interaction with I'm sure if they saw me on the street the next day they would not remember me. I honestly don't know how to have a "normal" conversation with people. If family it just kinda happens. With anyone else I have no IDEA how to do it and do it smoothly. I can't even do it with my friends and it's REALLY forced with the girls.

I failed at picking up the girls but I did improve meaning I able to open sets pretty easily now. What I wanna know is what's the next step? What skill I need to improve on and how to improve on them. I wanna be ready for next weekend when we go back up to the college.

So that's my field report. My first one actually. Sorry it longer than expected. Advice, Opinions?

The ext step is working on being a good conversationalist. You have to talk about stuff that you care about, actually have opinions on. Those make the best conversations. Fortunately, there are some things that everyone likes to talk about. One of these things is drinking/smoking. Steer clear of that. Everyone and there mother talks about that shit. One thing everyone, at least every attractive girl, cares about is fashion. I'm serious man, if you get into fashion, even a little bit, it is a golden ticket. Not only do you start thinking about your own dressing a little more, but you can comment on theirs. Pick up a fashion magazine, flip through it, remember some interesting tidbits. Go to H and M or american Apparel and get some fresh threads. Same thing with shoes. Good luck!

Hey congrats man! We have all been there! You have come a long way when you can open. This is the worst part, after fighting AA the rest is pretty easy!

I was a Speech Major myself back in the day....so just pick up some tips online, or buy some books on voice tonality, proper non-verbal communication tecniques (body language goes a long way). Or you can always watch a Youtube of Obama oratating... the Man can Talk! lmao

No the problem IS how your saying it. I say ANY and EVERYTHING under the sun to women...I mean honestly I'm pretty much an asshole. But I ATTRACT women. I told a HB10 she looked like Quasimoto's first cousin, and this chick laughed til she almost pissed herself! Never worry about what you SAY. It's more important what you SUB-communicate. Trust me.
