Don't. Ever. Hesitate. If you're telling yourself you should be doing something, you should already be doing it. Not thinking about doing it. Get the # as early in the interaction as possible. My reasoning, is this:

Went to a bar/dance house last night and met up with some friends. Now the 2 previous times I've actually been here, I ended up making out with a German HB7 and an American cutie who was an HB8, but I digress. Not 5 minutes after sitting down at the table with my buddy, his friend, and his friend's girlfriend, this 2 set comes upstairs one, is an HB6, and the other...is a certifiable HB9 (6'1" Tall, blonde, entirely cute) (which will increase in a moment if you keep reading). So I see them just talking to one another and glancing over at our direction, and "chick coding". The HB6 comes over and asks me who I'm with for the night, and I just introduced my friends that I was with. She heads back over to HB9 and they start chick coding again. I shoot the shit with my friends for a little bit to not seem too invested in the 2 set's obvious interest in me. While the HB6 goes behind the HB9 and points at her and mouths "go for it!" talking about her friend. This was the first of 2 approaches that were made on me that night. Usually I do the approaching, and I wasn't peacocking much at all.

I get up and go over to the HB9 and say "I know you didn't just send her over there to talk to me!" and start bantering about her being too shy. We exchange pleasantries and start finding out about one another. This is where she goes up the scale...

25 years old
Born in Columbia (yes the country)
Harvard Grad School Pre Med Graduate (I had to coax this info out of her because she doesn't like telling people actually=humble)
Played basketball in undergrad=Athletic
Works at the local hospital in the ER

I isolate quickly and start kino: hand holding, brushing her hair back, my hand on her knee, This is where I should have #closed.

We dance some, talk some more, get a few more rounds of drinks, dance some more, I end up sitting in her lap (her invitation, not mine). A few kisses on the cheek (she made the first move)

So we're all sitting at the original table, (me, her, and her friend) and she leans back and says something to her friend, then says that they have to go to the restroom. They have 2 drinks at the table which are still half full so I'm sure they'll be back upstairs to finish them off. So I wait a little bit, go open a few sets and come back to the table. Apparently they decided to just leave. They might have had too much to drink and weren't feeling well, but showed no excessively drunken behavior.

So I'm actually kicking myself while writing this. But its a lesson I can take with me and one I wanted to share with you guys. These are the women that make playing the game worth it. Practice your asses off, because when an amazing catch comes along, don't you dare let it slip away.
