My second field report - so i think i'm getting better, nerves from apporaching women is going down, slightly.

About a month ago, i number closed this blonde - 8 *now brunette*, at my mates farewell party. I call her two days after, and make plans to "catch up" for a coffee. Well, we went to this little coffee house I knew about. I normally go there, and i'm friends with a few of the barristas there, so it was easy to display social proof, and get a free coffee out of it. Here's where I went wrong with my first date with her, I didn't initiate nor escalate any kino, so sexual tension could not be built. However we talked and talked, til they had to kick us out of the coffee house. So a positive, i've built lots of rapport with her, because I maintained the conversation, whilst being able to neg her. David D, thanks for open ended questions... i kept causing a vacuum, in which she had to fill it. After that first coffee date, it'd be me who would call her, etc, etc. I'm not sure if I made my self the prize.

Now last night, we agreed to catch up for a few drinks with her friends and my mates. I made a concerted effort to escalate kino with her, which I did from the moment, I said hi, grabbing her hand, and kissing her on the cheek. I also decided to use an SOI it went something like this:

Villain: You know, not only are you funny, but you are sexy...
she blushes... she says thankyou... then she takes me out to the dance floor....

Here's the funny thing, she's going away to England, but I can't remember how we came to the topic about how shy she is, and how she admitted, she was going to find it hard to make friends in the UK. I threw the challenge to her, I told her the objective tonight is for her to get as many random people's photographs with my camera, but because she was a girl, she also had to find out their name, job, and greatest fear. She then said she wanted to see me do demo first. Now i dunno if this challenge was an afc, thing to do, but because she said she wanted a demo, i immediately I thought awesome, i'm gonna get some field practice. I asked her, who's picture should I get, she pointed out to an emo 7. She was in a 3 set, I went up to the set with an opinion opener on Paris Hilton... worked a charm, it almost got to the point i couldn't shut em up... i negged away at the target, and I convinced the other's in the group to neg her for me... after that, I managed to get the hat trick, and get a photo with all three, their names, Alice, Mandy, & Mary. My date, said she was impressed... (i think was a big mistake, letting her watch me work a set)

So the whole night we proceded trying to out do each other and get photo's with randoms, and getting their names etc, etc. However, the chemistry of the nite changed. I gave the ok to my friend, to ditch me, and let me run solo. So it was me and the girls. We went to another club, and we were playing our game (i got the bartender's #, but let's not let my target know about this). During the course of the night, the brunette 8 and I, were on our own. I suggested to her that we get pancakes. We went to a 24 hour pancake restaurant, and we talked some more I don't know why but I asked about her previous realtionships? (AFC thing to do, i don't know? General curiosity i guess). but the reason why we were on our own, was because, the brunette 8's best friend, was fighting with her boyfriend, so her attention was pointed that way, and it was hard to escalate sexual tension. She said that she had to go home, so i got her a cab, and away she went. i didn't kiss close....

I fear that I maybe going down the friend zone, if I am, how do would I steer this away from that zone? I fear that I haven't made myself the prize anymore...
