| So last night I went out with my friend B25 and met up with an old childhood friend of mine (haven't seen him in over 5 years he just got back from Sydney). I met some really cool people last night, got a phone number (from a guy who wants to jam) and had fun with a hired gun.
The night started out kind of slow, B2k came and picked me up from my house we then headed out to Knight's Library by UCF for a few beers and to meet up with my old friend Blake. We get to the bar and the place is by all accounts DEAD. I order a beer and some food because I haven't had dinner yet. Blake walked in a few minutes after we sat down. We all talk and have a few pints together.. I eat my food and then we decide to head over to Underground Blues.
Underground blues is a very cool bar. They have live music and an amazing selection of beer to chose from. Last night was open mic night. We sit down and get a few beers... I ended up opening a set of 2 guys and we start talking about music, the bar, etc. I come to find out that they are brothers and they play in a band. I really hit it off with this guy "Jeeves" we end up exchanging number and plan on meeting up to play guitar together. I then move my way around the small bar. I go up to the stage and meet the guys playing, I request a few tunes, but they don't know any White Stripes or even DYLAN!!! i then head out to the patio, chat with the bouncer a second, then talk with a nice group of people (3 guys and a girl) for a little bit. They compliment me on my hat. I then tried to open up a 2 set of girls, but they are anti social... Moving back into the bar I meet this really cute grad student, we talk a little about psychology, then for some odd reason she doesn't accept my thumb war challenge, I cheated a little bit (used the snake on her) she kind of got pissed. (Too cool for school). We wnd up leaving shortly afterward. I make my rounds and say by to the anti thumbwar girl and the people I've already met.
We then head to Meridian Hookah bar.
We walk in the place... I give a high five to the guy up front. Ask him my his name, and introduce myself. We grab a seat across from this 4 set of girls. I quickly decide to approach them. I ask them what flavor they are smoking, and I ask to sit down. We talk for a few minutes then I find out they are all just out of Highschool (Big No No).. so I eject and join my friends. Later on I see an HB hired gun.. she comes over to refill our hookah and I chat her up a little bit. Ask her about her night is going etc.. I end up talking to her throughout the night get her name and she compliments me on my hat...I take my hat off and put it on her and say "Ahh now that looks cute on you".. She smiles and asks "you think I look cute?".. "Honestly (pause pause pause).. Yeah".. We talk a little bit about clothes, and I ask her what her style is she just simply says "Cute"... I end up getting a big hug from her before we leave, and she tells me her work schedule at the hookah bar...
So I had fun last night. Opened a bit, got talking and had some fun with a hired gun. Now I can come back into Meridian Hookah and have some social proof with the hookah girl... We'll see how this turns out
