So last night i was at a club with me and mah boys... so while we were there we were doing our rounds and everything and ive been noticing this girl looking at me everytime i saw her id say a HB 6.5-7ish... so i finally went up to her and said lol "You know if your looking at me your goign to have to dance with me" then shes like "I havent been looking at you", and then she starts dancing with me. I turn her around to face me and then she asks

HB: so where are you from?
Me: Here...miami
HB: Realy? You look like your columbian. (Im cuban)
Me: lol no im not/
HB: WHat do you think i am? (I swear to you i was thinking Venezuela)
Me: Well you do have an accent... but
HB: Im cuban-venezuelan
Me: lmao i was about to say venezuelan
HB: Haha sure.. ok well i gotta go back with my friends
Me: Wow i see how it is
HB: nice meeting you though

And shes gone like the wind...

What do you guys think... WHat other approaches could i've done?

What you didn't do is DHV (demonstrate higher value). You opened well, then the conversation drifted off, you should have either have:
A) Neg'd her
B) Make an intuitive statement (that can be followed with some cold reading etc... up to you)
C)some other DHV

Intuitive statements would include...

- Statements about their personality based on looks... (presumptions)


so example: "Oh really? I bet your one of those conservative types. You know, the ones that stay in all the time" In which the HB would probably say, HB: No I'm not!, I can't beleive you said that"

Then you just explain your way out of it, it's a creative Neg that can show DHV on your part.

Definition: Cold reading: being able to guess someones personality, behavior, life... etc. right when you meet them.
- Get some books on it, it's fascinating.
