OK, this friend of mine from work is very good friends with a chick, and she's shown interest in me. She invited the friend from work and myself to her house on her 21st birthday. Now this wasn't just a friendly invite, she nearly demanded that I be there and was trying to get me to spend the night.(let it be known that she was sober at the time, and me and my friend, who I will refer to as M, were at work)

So, I decide to go, but to leave at 2 rather than stay the night. Once we arrive, M's girlfriend is there, but the birthday girl isn't. We're told that she went to the bar, not a usual drinker, to have "A DRINK" to celebrate. Well once she got back, we found her shit faced, she drank the equivalently of 4 long island iced teas. To make things odder, her obsessed down stairs neighbor joins us. He's acting all mopy and sad/upset, which I later found was because of me being there. It got her attention, as he planned, so I just ignored her and her orbiter and enjoyed the night with M and his chick. To return home at 2. But, before I left the orbiter went into her bedroom with her.

I was wondering whether I should have gamed her more than I had, or if I made the right choice. I then found out tonight that she had bitched him out for acting that way, let him, again, know she wasn't interested in him in anyway more than a friend, and emphasized not acting like that when I was around.

I was telling this story to a good friend of mine, and she told me that I couldn't have made a better move, now rather than looking like the horny guy who would do anything to fuck her, I'm a respectable and fun person. I really should thank that guy for trying to get with her that night, because without him she may not of ended up wanting me ten times more than she did already.

And for those who are wondering, yes she knows I'm interested in her, but I haven't let her know that myself. I asked M if she was single, and he then did some investigating of his own to find she finds me cute, which was not just said to blow off the questions according to him.

So now we're planning to all get together again, with out the orbiter, and have some sober fun sometime in the next week or two.
