You had your girl with no major interest in other targets -- and he wasn't gaming her. Now, there is nothing wrong with taking control of the frame. Kudos to that. I just fail to understand why you worked actively against him.
I agree.

Edit: After reading the rest of this thread, I see why you did what you did, and agree with you defending against the name change thing....I guess I just feel a bit sorry for the other guy!!

Haha, I love running into other PUAs, and just letting them know I'm onto them. If they aren't taking my target, it's all good. I just drop a line like:
"How'd you know they were best friends? That's a real Mystery how you did that!"
Sometimes I exchange numbers with them. Another wing? hell yes.

Maybe It's cause men here in Holland have a different attitude, but If I ever changed a guys name like that, I'd get my ass kicked for sure! You weren't being too hard in this dude... I think you were being too soft!

^exactly, this was amoging pure and simple, and if someone tries to amog you as soon as he enters YOUR set he's ruining your social standing and no one should stand for that. Personally i might have changed HIS name and immediately introduced him to the set, so you let him in, but on your terms (and give him a really dumb ass name). No reason to completely cock block the guy right?

Good post, really helped me as far as opening mixed sets...

Sure you may have a girl to go home with, but don't ever let your guard down or she'll see you're just putting up a front, then WHAMMY! she's gone too, or atleast the attraction has...

He never deserved a chance...
