Situation is: clearly AFC, how to become the life and soul of the party. More than anything I long to be that one guy whose charisma clearly dominates the scene. I want to be liked and loved by everyone.

Weird thing is, it's not like I'm some lonely desperate nerd since I already have some really close friends (especially female friends), and they're all I could need really, but I just feel like they might change their minds all of a sudden and dump me. That's because they have great personalities while I am stuck in this state of neediness, and I think they just love me too much for what I'm worth.

Now I know I will be told to read stuff about self-confidence but I have read a lot and I can't seem to really believe whole-heartedly in all that pua stuff. "Destroy your doubts", "Be the prize", "Don't seek approval from others", really? How can I improve myself if I keep destroying my doubts.

Most people have great personalities if you take the time to talk to them you'll find that out just like your friends have taken the time to find that out about you.

If you're worried that they are friends with you because you have money then bite the bullet so to speak and put your money away. You'll quickly find out who is really your friend and you'll quickly stop wanting to talking to those who aren't.

No one can truly "dominate a scene" all the time. Sure you can dominate a conversation or an event but I've never met anyone who is life and soul of the party 24 hours a day. My advice is to be confident, fun loving and relax because people seek out those qualities in others.
