How do you find your own IDENTITY?

I love myself but it's almost as if I have no idea who I truly AM, sometimes I think of myself as laidback cool and fun, then other times i think of myself as crazy and really out their and random. I pretty much go for any chick that likes me wich sucks because I don;t even get satisfaction from it no matter how hot she is. I'm starting to build standards for myself but my question is how do you find your identity? I know alot of you already went through this so it would be awesome if you could give me some advice, thanks.

im in your same boat, it fucking sucks! i try to be like other people that make matters worse, everything you said is what i feel.

most kids grow up with knowing who they are, i dont think i ever found out.
i had alot of cool friends though and all that type of stuff but it feel like its a big blur
