I have a lot of head knowledge about game, but have not been able to put it into practice. It's like I have a huge mental block in my head that I can't overcome. What do you guys suggest?

Isolate a smaller piece of the puzzle and work on that. When you try to deal with everything at once it is overwhelming.

figure out what the mental block is.

Insecurity ? Anxiety ? You can't just say "mental block" and stop. You can never get rid of some generic fuzzy "mental block". To attack the demon you must first know its name.

My problem is this:

I spot an HB and right away negative thoughts flood my head. It is like I am a slave to my own mind. I just can't push through the thoughts I have.
